Thank you Sean, I’m one of those persons that saved her negatives in a box with the year written on them. I love seeing old pictures.

Great stuff Sean, I picked up one of those old 35mm negative/slide duplicators, it probably would work better on a full frame DSLR than my APSC Nikon as it cropped the image slightly. In the end I popped the negs on a light box, though not as fancy a set up as your rig. As for old photos I've scanned many old prints for my parents so they can share them with other relatives.

Sounds great man and maybe there is a wee video in the making for your channel on how you copy them?? Yes I was fed up with all the hassle of tripods and lightstands trying to get heights right etc so I designed that rig, must admit I have found it sooooo usueful, not only for the unboxing videos but also copies. The week after I made it I got an out of the blue contract from a local museum to copy 150 photos so it was like bam bam bam getting them done so I feel it was and is for me was worth it and all in all cost me under £50 to make ♥ Sean

@@Rambleswithmycameraonyoutube Brilliant for £50 Sean, if I had the space in my room I think I'd have a go at creating something like that. I just shot an unboxing for a future video - not ideal having to reach around a tripod/camera to unpack something. I hope you get a few more contracts like that until the workshops and tours pick up again.

What do you think of cinematography in film? As a photographer, is that something you ever pay attention to?

Hi thanks for your question. Not sure what you are asking, am I interested in shooting films in film or am I interested in specific cinematography shot on film? I dont see a need to create film using film, digital is the present and the future and Im a Vegan so I wouldnt shoot film. Would I watch films made shot on film of course, some of the most amazing films have been shot on film. Hope this answers your question but if not what you meant please let me know and I will answer thanks ♥ Sean

No, my question was rather simple. Sorry if I made it sound confusing. What I suppose I meant to ask, was do you watch and appreciate movies and cinematography as a photographer? Is that something you ever thought about? The different shots in movies and what they mean. I'm personally more into cinema than photography but I truly feel they go hand in hand in various ways. What are some of your favorite movies?
