As an ELA teacher I’d love to see a video dealing teaching ELA. As a newer teacher I am finding it hard teaching grades 7-12 at a small school. Any help would be amazing
Awesome! I have had a lot of friends who chose to teach overseas. I am sure it is just as much of an adventure as it is an America. Kids are kids no matter where they are. I used to teach and ELD (English Language Development) class for Chinese , Korean, and Vietnamese students who were studying in America. What I learned was that kids are kids no matter where they come from. We had a lot of fun. The last of my kiddos are graduating high school this year. My teacher heart is so proud, but so sad to see them go off!
Hey :) great video! I'm thinking about becoming a teacher and I'm currently working with children in an after school care. Do you know more books that i could read about what to do with children that are being mean to others, disrespectful, loud etc.? Or other books for future teachers? Thank you
You are literally such a positive and giving-hearted person in this video. I hope you are doing great!
I am hoping to start my teaching career this fall, so this is incredibly helpful! Thank you so much for sharing it. : - )
Casey S. I'm so glad it was helpful! Congratulations on starting your career. What an exciting beginning. What will you be teaching?
Hi. I'd love to see another video about books recommendations :)
I'd be happy to make one. What particular topic would you be looking for? Teaching English/ELA? Behavior management? Teaching in general?
Happily in the Middle I think would be nice to see a video with others favorites about teaching in general.

This is amazing thank you! I teach privately !
You're so welcome! Let me know if there are any other types of books you'd like recommendations for. What do you teach?
Happily in the Middle I teach English and Creative Writing :) but I teach in Asia so it might be slightly different.
