TROYES, The Capital of Champagne I A Walking Tour in 4K

Join us on this walking tour of Troyes in France. This little known gem is the capital of the Champagne Region and located 87 miles south - east of Paris. Stroll through the magnificent half timbered buildings painted in palette of white, red and yellow. These were built as merchant houses where the shop is traditionally situated on the ground floor and the owner's private dwellings on upper floors. Walk through it's charming streets full of characters, the most famous of which is Ruelle du Chats ( cat alley). The top of the houses on this street are so close together, it is said that cats can jump from one building to another. Enjoy the walk through historic squares and gothic churches of Troyes.

It's great to see this lovely old town. The Basel -> Paris train used to stop here, but you saw nothing from the station, that was pre-UA-cam..now I know, thanks!
