I love Okinawa, its people and the song because we share similar history as Island and Islanders. Higashi Timor like Okinawa and Okinawans, suffered very much in history due to the occupation of big powers in the past. However, our hearts and souls of the beautiful Island and Islanders, remain beautiful like the blue sky and the ocean and its waves that never change in giving its peaceful and beautiful sounds. Regardless of thousand bombs dropped on it. It's this secrets of the islands secret deep in those blue oceans that give power and strengths for its children to be resilient and smile for next morning. I was crying of joy when I found Begin in Higashi Timor. Since then I feel so close and want to visit Okinawa!

I am some uchinanchu child borned in Brazil, I don't speak uchinaguchi and maybe you canno't understand my message before this, well I said about the feelings by some uchinanchu child and your reminiscent about the word's heared in the youth. The reminiscent about the grand mother smiling, singing e dancing the Okinawa uta. It's like missing something about we don't know what are, we just feel in the heart. I don't know Okinawa I just know what my grand mother said about Okinawa.
