Now thats pretty darn cool.... i can see Arnold Swasenager lighting his Stogy Cigars with one of these with no problem. Hehe.. thanks Tom for another cool idea.
I use these all the time. They work especially good for firing up my gravity 980. Works great in a charcoal chimney too. The only issue is the strike line on the box starts to wear out by the time you use about 3/4 of the box.
I have a smaller version of these and use it to light my charcoal chimney. They work fine. You may know already.......Weber sells a smaller charcoal chimney that is prefect for starting a handful+ of briquets for a low and slow cook.
we have used them for both staring the grill and fires in the fire pit and do a good job. Only problem is the striker doesn't last for an entire box, the bottom fell out dumping them all over the garage floor and had some that must of got wet and were stuck together.

Good video Tom. Thanks.
Thanks for watching Todd!
I break them in half and use them for my masterbuilt gravity - perfect size
Thanks for Watching! Good to know
Might be good for the portable masterbuilt you think?
Thanks for watching Kevin! Yes it would be
I think it's a good bargain. I pay about the same for the twisted wood shavings fire starters and only get about 12 or so in a package.
Thanks for Watching Good to know
Price is ok! What about the smoke. Most of those have heavy kerosene/diesel fuel smell ! Even the wax one's! Your opinion would be great, Tom!
Thanks for Watching James! Did not notice anything extreme
