Good evening Fr. Warner. Thank you for continuing to teach the Word of God, now with the readings. You explain so much in detail about the history of what happened in those days and bringing the message to how we need to apply the same today. Yes, we need to pray for our leaders as is explained in today's reading. I also love it when you say Jesus is not a God but The God. He is the only way, truth and life.
Thank you Fr. Warner, for your reflection today; as you so rightly said, it is an absolute must that we pray for all leaders of the world, for all those in positions of power and authority, esp. as it comes only from the One True God, Jesus Christ.
I have only one God and his name is Jesus .I love my Lord and I'm blessed to b his child .In my past being a Christian I followed other Gods but I never got love it's only my Jesus .thank you Rev Father .
God bless you, for the words of wisdom. Yes truly as the WOG says ...give to God what is due to him and to the rulers what's due to them. We should pray for them, even when the pressures of their governance makes us cry, but am sure like St Paul they too can change.
Thk u our adorable Fr Warner n as u ritely said we hv only One D God. It is very very true. We hv to adore only our God. Hp n pray ur teaching hits everyone’s head. Thk u Fr n we are so grateful tht we receive so much teaching of d word of God. Thk u for d awesome prayer u pray for all of us so fervently tht tears roll from our eyes. God bless u our Fr n Loadz of prayers to u always Fr. Hv a blessed day Fr.
Two aspects stand out in today’s gospel passage for me. One - The concern of the centurion, a person of authority, towards his servant is noteworthy. Only a person of character would treat someone who worked for him with so much love and care. A great human quality for us to emulate. Two - The centurion’s faith reminds me of the difference in faith that exists in Christians who are born into Christianity and those who are not born into the faith but encounter Jesus at some time and become believers. The former often take the blessing for granted and don’t realize what a gift and a treasure they possess so they go about their faith more like something on a to-do list. However the latter cherish their faith and pursue it with zeal and passion This is something that astounds others at times just as the faith of the centurion, a Roman, astounded Jesus today Serves as a reminder that faith is not an entitlement or a right but a gift of God’s grace which we must treasure above everything else. Reference to today's first reading, yes Fr though we might differ in our belief systems, we must pray for all our leaders and people in authority There is indeed great power in prayer. God bless you!
Today's reading is the need of the hour. We MUST PRAY for all Rulers and those in authority so that atrocities cease and we can all live in peace and harmony. Yes it is true UAE prays by name for their rulers at every Mass. So also the Vincentian Priests in UK and Australia pray specially daily for Priests. I really hope Mumbai Archdiocese makes it mandatory to pray for these two intentions daily at every Mass.
Thank you Fr. for devotedly and faithfully spending time to teach, preach and bless us. May our one and only Lord Jesus our Messiah, Saviour, KING and Redeemer bless you and all the clergy to propagate his word to all generations and to make him known to all that people might know the TRUTH and follow the the Truth, the Way and the life., which is our Lord Jesus. Lord our God let your presence be with us, in us and around us every moment of our day. Alleluia Praise the Lord our God Amen 🙏
"I ask that supplications, prayers, petitions and thanksgiving be offered for everyone"...."It is my wish, then, that in every place the men should pray, lifting up holy hands 🙌, without anger or argument".... Thank you Fr. for today's reflection on prayer, the four different words for prayer urging to 'FIRST OF ALL' to pray for all by offering SUPPLICATIONS-prayer to God, INTERCESSION-intimate conversation and THANKSGIVING. Just as St. Paul is asking for prayers for Kings, we too, must pray for our leaders of our country, our Church leaders, people in authority. Paul is asking to worship the one true God and is emphasizing on the need for prayer with his proclamation that ,"THERE IS ONE GOD AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MAN AND THAT IS JESUS CHRIST." So let us pray fervently to our LORD for everyone... for the sick, the needy, for ourselves too... also, keeping you, Dad and family in our prayers. AMEN! NOTE: Fr. the posture of the willow tree artefact in the centre (praying) is the exact replica of yours 😊
Good morning Father, another day to praise n thank Jesus for. Father yr teachings are always a good start to the day. St Paul is such a fascinating person to follow, his bold n head on focus on Jesus 's teachings is so amazing, his complete about turn in character after his encounter with Jesus gives us sinners hope, courage n strength to make changes in our own lives. I'm learning so much from him, his love n passion for the Lord is remarkable. I lived in Saudi Arabia for 30 yrs, our children grew up without Sunday school n mass for the first 13 yrs in Jeddah till we got to Al khobar, n becos of Aramco we got a chance to attend mass n our children were able to receive their sacraments. It ws here that our faith journey began n all thanks to God for giving us wonderful priests like Fr Nick, Fr Paul n Fr Joseph. And yes we too , always prayed for the King of Saudi Arabia. Sorry for this narration, but I'm reminded of how fortunate we were to receive this miracle, mass for us became more meaningful n important as it ws rare n only available to us if we hd sponsors. So prayers n thanks to them also. Tk you again Fr for yr valuable teachings, I appreciate it more today.

ST PAUL is his letter to Timothy tells that CHRIST SALVATION was UNIVERSAL and not for a select people. HIS SALVATION was for the Kings emperors rich and poor ALIKE.There is One GOD ONE MEDIATOR a nd Paul is a witness to this great event..ay we like St Paul be true witnesses in these troubled times we are living in.

Yes I do agree that it will be nice if we get into the practice of praying for our rulars.
