This linkin park journey is everything
I want to like this comment, but it's at 69 likes, so I don't... But I like it still
@@bearli now you can like 🤘
Almost like reliving it all over again, but fun to catch some details I would have missed as a younger person
When I first heard Numb on the radio in 2002-2003, I was sold. Acquired Meteora, Hybrid Theory and Reanimation (dubstep/techno remixes). Rip Chester, I aspired and still do to sing like you and that's from the heart.
Yes it was😊
This is my depression song. I was listening to this when I was in a bad relationship. The lyrics describes all of how I felt while being in a toxic relationship.
Linkin Park is so a truth of my life and yeah most of his lyrics is about depression and battle war but i agree with your comment i love to met you and the devil of inside will be disappear ☺️
yeah, this whole album basically got me through my parents divorce about 6 years ago. i find the lyricism all too relatable
@@kavehgaming546 where are you from
@@Waack_ It really is too relatable
@@8-bitgirl im from iran the hard country
I believe there has never been a more accurate describtion of Chester than "screams like a demon, sings like an angel" ... maan, I miss him...
Up next is “Nobody’s Listening” which is my personal choice for their most underrated song!
Hes gonna love that. I can tell
It is super underrated however I've always felt that the little things give you away from their 3rd record minutes to midnight was their most underrated
That song is one of my favorites too. I relate to that one on a personal level and easier to run.
I love that song, but my personal favorite is Powerless which is also very underrated no one ever talks about it.
where the heck is faint?
Are you planning on reacting to their entire discography? Because It's a trip.
Man, I hope he does. I want to see his reactions to The Hunting Party.
That'd be cool
If you think Mike is a good rapper just from hearing Linkin Park songs, listen to his recent solo album Post Traumatic and his side-group act Fort Minor.
Or fort minor
I agree completely. Post Traumatic is a raw look at someone trying to get past a tragedy in their lives. Kudos to Mike for sharing his journey with everyone. Raw emotion throughout the album.❤️
I would start with (fine)
Also check out his colaberation with the executioners, Its going down.
Lyrically wise the album is amazing, but the beats are insanely bad wich makes me not listen to it.
I’ve waited so long for this one. One of my top 5 linkin Park songs
Morgan Waller this along with Lying From You I think is my top Linkin Park song, it’s got every aspect of their talents showcased into one amazing track
Same here
even more in live performance, incredible
1 for me
3:40 *Alex.exe has stopped working*
😂😂😂 f*ck nice 👌😂
His brain is like "system overload. Does not compute" lmao 🤣
🤣😂😂
XD
If you ever make it to Minutes to Midnight, “Leave Out All the Rest” is such an emotional song that I feel like is his “closure” song in a way. You’ll see what I mean.
Love this trip down memory lane, man. Much respect. RIP Chester 🤘🏼
Totally...im playing it at my funeral.
"When my time comes..."
Yeeees, and do the live version please :3
Marcel Simonin Opinions are like assholes, my guy. Everyone’s got one. Unfortunately for you, my comment didn’t have you in mind. Clearly Alex has a respect and appreciation for the art of Chester and Co. that I share as well, so I was gearing it more towards him.
Next time, please puke your thoughts on someone else’s comment. Thanks.
As well as Little Things Give You Away
Joran Moore That was geared more towards the fallout from Hurricane Katrina. Still an emotional song though 🤘🏼
Fun fact, this video - just like Numb - was filmed in Prague, Czech Republic. This one was shot the day after their show here in Prague. It was my first big concert, I was 13 and my mind was blown that night. I always feel a bit nostalgic and proud, seeing my hometown in videos for these great songs :)
My FAVORITE song by LP, the lyrics, Chester's amazing voice from singing to screaming, Mike's rapping, the transition from melodic to heavy, this song is simply amazing
I still remember when I first heard this album. My dad used to take me to watch him play football when I was kid, on a sunday and I used to stand on the sideline and watch him ( I'm from England btw so football means soccer). But he found an ipod nano in the gym during the week (back when people had those). So this time I wanted to play solitaire on his ipod and sit in the car. So I played solitaire and listened to this album in its entirety and I've been a fan since that day. What a fuckin day that was. 🔥🤘🏻🔥🤘🏻
My favorite LP song
Linkin Park helped me through on of the roughest times of my life. When they came out in 2001 it was about 2 years after my older sister died and right about that time my family was in complete turmoil. My parents were tearing each other apart and I was stuck in the middle my other sister had a car and a job she could escape to. They helped me deal with all the things in my life I couldnt control. I was watching a Linkin Park video and one of your videos popped up after, then I noticed another and another and I subscribed. It's one thing for reaction channels to throw one or two reactions out by them around the anniversary of Chester's death, it's another thing when you enjoy a band so much that you literally can't stop listening and searching for the next track. I appreciate that, Chester's death was the only celebrity I've ever actually cried over. He was such a beautiful Person.
Bringing back all the feels "Nostalgic"
Thank you Alex 🤘🏼🖤
Meteora is just one of those crazy good albums that everything on it is just fantastic. I respect LP's choices to change direction over the years even though a lot of the newer stuff never really clicked for me. But I'll always think of Meteora and Hybrid Theory when I think LP. Glad your enjoying Meteora Alex!
I gotta recommend Celldweller for a reaction. Something like, End of an Empire or Frozen (Blue Stahli remix) would be great picks.
To your first point: same. Minutes to Midnight just didn’t connect with me and I lost my enthusiasm for LP after that (never took my posters or articles featuring them, down until I moved). I’ve tried to listen to their albums after that just couldn’t finish a single song. And the Making of a Thousand Suns video is annoying as fuck to try and listen to with all the random audio “glitches” and distortions they threw in. If LP’s “making of” videos for each album is a reflection of that album, then that explains a lot.
I have waited so long for this one. This is the Linkin Park song that means the most to me personally. Big thanks for the awesome reaction Alex. Stay safe🤟🏼
Me tooo.
Linkin Park introduced me to Rock. After Chester left us back in '17 I started listening to other bands, cause it was just impossible for me to listen to Linkin Park without shedding a tear. While I was listening to other bands, I discovered Slipknot, absolutely fell in love with their music, and through Slipknot I came to this channel. And now Alex is reacting to Linkin Park songs which, I was absolutely hooked to back in the day, and this is like coming to a full circle. And I'm addicted to Linkin Park all over again, thanks to Alex, but this time, after like a 3 year hiatus, LP songs hit me different.
I love this whole album. RIP Chester.
One of my favorite songs by them ❤️
😞 he was taken away from us to soon! #RIPCHESTER
Terry Nuñez murder
When you are done with Linkin Park you should really listen to Mike Shinoda s solo music. So insanely good
Or his production credits. Lupe Fiasco's The Instrumental is my favorite.
This journey has been very good and brings back fond memories of Chester! He's gone but never will be forgotten.
Alter Bridge - Blackbird, Broken Wings, Open Your Eyes, Watch Over You, or just about any song. lol
He said he’s doing hybrid theory next, I’m so excited
This is one of my favorite songs by this band. Every part of it lyrically musically and cheaters voice is incredible.
Every Linkin Park album is an amazing journey that you need to live just like this, from the first song till the last one. I'm so glad that you're enjoying Meteora and I'm excited about your next LP reactions
LP is one of the best bands to come out in the last couple of decades. Those first few albums got me through life 100%
Meteora is still to this day their best album ever. With Minutes to Midnight being the best way to show the range LP has.
One of my favorite linkin park songs it’s so 🔥🔥🔥
Despite the angry guitar and melody and everything of this masterpiece... this songs gives me chill.. that everyone leave me for myself and i must keep going...
You can hear sadness and loneliness and anger in chester voice.. Rest in peace my angel🖤
How could this song never hits #1 in Modern Rock Tracks ... wtf !?
i looove this song so much.. so intesnive and the message is pure talent
I grown up with Linkin Park
I have been listening them from my school days and no other band can take their place and no other singer could replace Chester, for me he is the best singer ever and will remain best forever...❤️❤️❤️❤️
One of my top 3s from LP. Phenomenal song and a perfect mixture of heavy and melodic
You need to react to
GREY DAZE - sickness (it was Chester's band before linkin park and the other members with his wife's blessing remastered all their old songs)
Yes!
Any grey daze songs
I was going to write this same thing! I can't get sickness out of my head
I was recommending Dead By Sunrise (the band Chester made with the guys from Julien K)
But he should definitely check out Grey Daze too.
Hell yeaaahhh!!!
Don't be sad, because Chester is gone. Be happy, because he exist.
R.I.P.

Amen ❤ chesters existence was so influential for me and so many others in this world, much love to Chester his family and all my fellow linkin park fans ❤❤
This song brought me to tears when I first listened it back in middle school. Chester, fucking legend 🖤
I don't know how I found my way to these vids but I'm glad I did. Meteora is the record that made me love music and made me want to make music. Chester's passing was one of the most heartbreaking things I can remember, and even though listening to his music can be hard now, it's amazing getting to see someone experience this record for the first time the way I did as a kid. Thanks for doing this series man, it brings a bit of joy to some strange times.
Честер - это голос который просто что то сумашедшее и невероятное!!! Супер!!!😘😘😘😘😘😘😘
The goose bumps never go away. I’ve been listening to them for so many years and still get them. Lol
Same
LINKIN PARK was one of the most diverse bands, ever! They were ahead of the curve when music transitioned in and out of genres
Y’all gotta admit that screaming release so much stress and depression, imagining Chester screams like that. Damn he been through a lots
Tell me that didn't take your breath away, especially during Chester's epic screaming in the middle of the song. Truly a classic by Linkin Park!
Love this Linkin Park journey! 💜
Having listened to whole album over and over again throughout years,
doing it with you still made my life a bit better, thanks
This is my Personal Favorite among all their songs. Can't help but remember my childhood days . So much nostalgia 🖤🖤🖤
Dude i swear, if you start going through full albums for a while itll be the dopest thing you've done on this channel. Showing albums to people is one of my favorite things in life, so its cool to see you basically letting your audience share an album with you.
Busta Rhymes We made it ( official music video) ft. Linkin Park
That's a good song!
I love that song!
The name of the song is We Made It. And there is also an official music video that makes this great song even more atmospheric. Alex just must watch it, that collaboration between Busta Rhymes and Linkin Park was epic!
@@jamesbestrr4532 that's it. I could not remember the title and was too lazy to google it 🤣🤣
@@Matth3w311ison Sorry dude but please edit your post to the following: "Busta Rhymes - We Made It (Official Music Video) ft. Linkin Park"
Alex should not miss that there is an official video for the song on BustaRhymesVEVO channel. Thanks! ;)
I've recently been listening to LP a lot. It's such a release from my feelings right now. Their music was so good at doing that.
I'm very grateful for this journey by Linkin Park music. It's a band of my childhood and it was a blow to me when Chester "gave up"... Thank you
eu amo linkin park man
This child in this video IS NOT Chester's son, it's not Jaime or any other of his sons. It's random kid from Prague, where "From The Inside" music video was filmed.
That's strange if its not Jaime, Why Wikipedia think this kid is Jaime Bennington is Chester's son?
@@Rusli1659LPSoldier Wikipedia never considered as sourse of truth. Everyone can change text in Wikipedia pages. For example, I can go there and change text so it would says it was me in this music video. I noticed that many people in this comments spreading this misinformation. Let me tell you facts:
1) Around that time when "From The Inside" music video was filmed Chester have one son he care about - Draven, who was born in 2002 by Samantha (Chester's wife, they married in 1996. Divorced in 2005).
2) Jaime was born in 1996 by Elka Brand (Chester was in relationship with her before he met Samantha). Chester didn't raise him or interact with him at any level.
Jaime lived with his mom (Elka). Only inner circle (and probably less part of it) knew that Chester had child outside of marriage.
It was that way until 2006 when Chester adopted him (and his younger brother Isaiah).
3) Jaime didn't look like kid in music video at all. There is a photos out there of Jaime around 2006-2009 period so you can check yourself. At that time when music video was filmed, Jaime was 7 years old. Kid in music video looks a little bit older.
4) "From The Inside" music video was filmed in August of 2003 in Prague, Chezh, during Linkin Park's "Meteora European tour". Jaime physically can't be there (in the middle of the tour, far from home, with man who didn't raise him and not interact with him at all, without mother Elka).
5) Linkin Park have that thing called LPTV. It's starts in early 2000's. They filmed, for example, work in studio during Meteora recording, they filmed they Tour life since 2003. You can find shortened LPTV episodes of Meteora era on their youtube official channel. Moments of filming "From The Inside" music video is there too.
If we pretend that we don't know facts I've mentioned earlier, do you think that Chester or anyone in the band didn't take a moment and mention this kid as Chester's son? I don't think so. And I believe you think the same.
FINAL LINE is: it's not Chester's son. Just random kid from Prague.
@@PPRKUT88 the behind the scenes/Making the video of from the inside can be found on LPTV episode 5 Season 2.

Just found that part around 5 minutes.
This is why LP are my fav band. Their songs are more than songs to me. They are therapy sessions for my head. Every song is so meaningful and they help me on a daily basis man. No one really that I know loves LP but that’s partly I think because they don’t understand how deep the lyrics are, especially for me. They’re like my own special secret even though I know there are millions of people that love them. Take care LP fam and even if you’re not part of it, take care! Have a great day people! 🤘👍
I'm loving how engaged you are with this amazing band, the energy is awesome!
Have you thought about maybe doing a livestream reacting to one of their concerts or multiple "best concert moments"? :)
I didn't even know that there was a music video made to this song and that it's so badass.
Hybrid Theory and Meteora were among the greatest albums to come out of the early 2000s. I gave up on LP after they changed their sound but will always remember this time on my life fondly back when hard rock, post-grudge and nu-metal dominated the radio.
This song live in Texas is greatness.
This was the sound of a particular summer for me. I was in middle school and I will always remember those days fondly thanks to this album, my friends at the time who i still hold dear and remember fondly, fighting the expectations of those around of what they wanted me to be and what I wanted from myself, realizing that being a rocker, jumping moshing, screaming is better than being a gang banger always looking over their shoulder.
OMG PLEASE KEEP THIS GOING!! I'm a huge Linkin Park fan and this is fantastic. I love seeing people appreciate this music as I do.
I forgot how good Meteora was, it's been to long. If you like Mike rapping then listen to
FORT MINOR and if you want to hear a harder side of Chester then listen to DEAD BY SUNRISE.
Also, don't forget that Chester sang for STONE TEMPLE PILOTS
and somewhere on the internet you will find Chris Cornell surprising Chester by doing a cameo appearance to sing Crawling i believe and you will also find Chester showing up to do Hunger Strike with Chris Cornell (these are both concert appearances)
I'm excited to hear your reaction to Nobody's Listening. It's one of the more different songs of the album
and it sampled "High voltage" in the chorus.
This and Given Up displays his amazing talent to go from death metal screaming to normal soft singing at the drop of a dime. Insane.
"We Made It" Busta Rhymes Ft. Linkin Park. You wont regret it. Only real Linkin and Busta fans know.
This is one of my favorite songs off this album. But not to take away from the fact that Linkin Park as whole has ALWAYS been one of my favorite bands ever. Chester is one of the greatest rock singers of all time, in my opinion.
Since you're really enjoying Chester's vocals, he also had a sideproject for a little bit called Dead By Sunrise. It won't have the same band members, but some of their songs are still very cool (and, of course, Chester's vocals are great on them)!
This MV really gives me chills, every time. I'm not exaggerating, the boy's scream always gets me, since I was 14 till now
Such a great way to put music together. Soulful powerful voice of Chester, Mike lyrically is qaulity and his voice fits the band. The intros all have these great DJ scratch mix to start off which sets the songs up. Pure genius and magical
Não tem como se emocionar seloko.... Do nada voltei a ter 15 anos e ouvindo pela primeira vez "from the inside" chega a arrepiar
Gonna keep pounding the drum with this one!
DEFTONES - Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away)
Linkin Park has been my fave band since they came out. Saw them live in 2004, was the best experience of my life. I love watching your take on their songs! After Chester's death these songs hit different
I've always thought this song is one of, if not, the most underappreciated and underrated song of theirs. I've always loved it.
this is true emotion
Linkin park é incomparável!
The world is a lesser place without Chester. A lot of people loved that man, myself included. Such a tragedy. Growing up this was my favorite song by them.
My song request is Scream by Thousand Foot Krutch. Brilliant song :D.
the beginning of the song feels sad and slow but I'm surprised at the song's ref. because music and vocals come together like rising and angry. and the chester's scream could make me want to scream too. this is amazing. 👏👏👏👍
If you love Linkin Park, I think you'd love From ashes to New.
With the original singer. Not a fan on the new guy
Chester was an amazing singer !!!!!!!!!!!!!
HERE IT IS, my favorite song ever. I'm so glad you reacted to it. Amazing video!
This is the first song I related to in my childhood. I remember watching the video to this for the first time, weirdly cried. It spoke a lot to me. Chester's angelic voice, the deep meaningful lyrics. From the Inside still incredibly hard to listen to. Linkin Park really is a band for all the people. There is definitely a song in all discography that relates to anyone and what they have experienced. Hell maybe a lot of them you relate to. Chester and all of Linkin Park are incredible lyrists and musicians. Speaking to a hurt world, depressed people, confused, scarred, battered, weathered and just anyone that has had a shitty day. I don't think they knew it then but they have possibly saved the life of many of those souls that have had any turmoil and felt like today I don't want to wake up. Honestly listening to them through any moment I couldn't handle it, has made me stop and rethink. Thank you Linkin Park. Thank you Chester, thank you Mike, Joe, Brad, Phoenix and Rob for bring this music into a broken world! We love you all ❤
I hope he make the same with Minutes to midnight Hybrid theory or Living Things
Nice trolling

Yoo Alex, please put "Linkin Park - Lost in the echo" in your Linkin Park journey, cause this song is pure 🔥 but get so underrated🙏🏼
Sorry to keep respecting myself haha. But you NEED to react to « A line in the sand » from their 6th album « The hunting party ». It’s their most underrated one (like most underrated songs, it’s not a single 🤷♂️). It’s an over 6 minutes song that bring together all of their different styles and influences , into a mind blowing rock opera like masterpiece. Please 🙏 react to this sooner than later . Not just you, but everyone need to listen to it
And Guilty All the Same. Hands down the best hard rock LP single imo
guitar solo is perfect
Andrea SEVERIN id argue another song for their best « hard rock » song : War. Not even 3 minutes, put sounds like 80’s metal/pre grunge loll it’s fucking amazing

For everyone who may seen a comments here like "It's Chester's son in this music video", you must know - it's NOT Chester's son. Detailed answer inside this comment.
That's Jamie Bennington. That's his kid. Look it up
@@justinsamson8453 That's not Jaime at all, look it up! Where you people even came up with this bullshit?
Jaime was born in 1996 by Elka Brand who Chester was in relationship with (not in marriage) before he married Samantha. Draven was born in 2002. Until 2006 Jaime lived with Elka, Chester didn't interact with him at any level. In 2006 Chester adopted him and Isaiah (younger Jaime's brother). So, when music video was filmed, Jaime was 7 years old. Kid in music video a bit older. He didn't looks like Jaime at all, nothing similar. Music video was filmed in August of 2003, during Meteora European tour. Since Chester didn't raise Jaime until 2006, he physically can't take him in tour (also in that way 7 y.o. kid needed his mother around so Elka must be tooked in tour too). Also, band filmed their LIVE life since 2003, it's called LPTV (shortened episodes of Meteora era you can find on Linkin Park's youtube channel). Moments of filming "From The Inside" also there. So, if it was Chester's son, you think Chester or any band member of LP wouldn't mention him? I don't think so.
FINAL LINE is: it's not Chester's son. Just random kid from Prague, where music video was filmed.
everyone i've ever heard critique chesters scream has always said it sounds like he has 3 voices screaming all at once. perfection.
This LP journey is so awesome!!! And your videos are my favorite!!!
