So exciting starting March to get caught up. Thank you, Tiffany
You are a wonderful teacher. I am new to crocheting and I can actually keep up. Thank you.
I am absolutely obsessed with this project.. I find myself looking for ward to the next month stitch.. you are so easy to follow and understand.. love how coordinated you are!
I am loving this project. I always look forward to the next months stitch.
I love working on this blanket. I was always afraid of a temperature blanket because I thought I would get bored and not finish the project. However, this format makes it feel like 12 little projects instead of 1 big one. It keeps me motivated to finish each month on time, so I am ready to start the new one as soon as it is released. Thank you for this design, Tiffany.
Yay, I am loving this sooooo much!!!
I was so worried about the edge looking larger wasn’t sure what to do lol almost took it all apart to start over. Thank you for putting my mind at ease 😊
Same here. I reached out to Tiffany and Bless her heart she was there rather quickly to help.
You are absolutely the best teacher thank you for all you do I am so glad I found your channel you have given me a new love for crocheting
Bless you, Tiffany. Thank you for answering all my questions and addressing my concerns. I felt like you were talking directly to me. 😄 I will start back up tomorrow with February. I didn't frog the whole project. Thank you Thank you Thank you 💕
Thank you, Tiffany! Finishing up the last few days of February & on to March!💜😁
Can't wait to see how everyone's March blanket is coming along!
Hi tiffany hansen right now I am working on my cottage core mosaic blanket and granny squares blanket and half double crochet stitch and I love your channel and your videos and if you keep making videos i will keep watching them and what is your favorite crochet project to work on right now and favorite type of yarn to used when crocheting and keep up the great work on your UA-cam channel and keep up the great work on your crochet project
Oh, yes! It is a wonderful journey, indeed!❤!😊!!!
I'm Loving this project and will be sending you a picture of my blanket very soon!
Thanks Tiffany 😊
Absolutely awesome
Enjoying it so far. So glad you mentioned that the sides can slant. I almost started all over.
I have ripped mine out several times thinking I did something wrong😬
@@LisaLadrido I just kept tugging mine to straighten it out, I figured it would come right with the border, but its nice to see we all werent the only ones!
Loving the project 🥰 however I kind of wish I would have known the sides were going to do that, I took out so much of February and cut back stitches to fix my sides 😢
Same!!!!
I'm amazed at how smoothly you crochet, I'm a tight crocheter
I wish I could learn how to hold my needle the way you do, especially where I crochet so tight, my hand hurts sooo bad, even during the night but I'm not gonna stop
Thank you for your tutorials
I’m not on this journey with you but I’m following along to see what stitches you choose each month!
That's cool! 😊❤️🧶
Just worked up my first 2 March rows. Stunning 🤩
I’m so happy you like it!! 🤗❤️🧶
Hi, couldn’t make your chat last night. Hope it was fun! I’m loving the fan stitch!
At the start of row 2 the instructions say to Ch 3 and turn. In your tutorial you said to Ch 2 and turn. Which is best to follow?
Yes I would like to know which is correct before I start March stitch…so which is it Tiffany chain 2 or chain 3?
Love this stitch even tho I was hoping for the the wave stitch 😆 😂 fingers crossed 🤞🏻 we may see it later on? 😂❤❤❤
I’m doing a four weight historic temperature blanket. Can we get the upcoming stitches early?
Loving the sampler approach. Super pretty!
Sorry, that is most of the fun and motivation to keep with the project. 😊❤️🧶
Completely understand, thanks.
@@sandistolle4874 Im doing historic too for the year I got married and made sure Feb 2nd was captured and used white sparkly yarn for that date so it stands out. Super fun. Its nice cause you have all the dates, but you cant work ahead. lol
Hi Tiffany, I tried doing this stitch.. however for some reason the stitch doesn't seem to look very defined. I'm using the same yarn as you are using in the 4 weight. He appears that the small opening where we do 3 double crochets seems to almost disappear and doesn't look like a shell stitch. Any suggestions, would be appreciated. Thank you!
Hi JoAnne, Row 1 will be the most challenging with that next stitch space over looking like it almost disappears. But if you can get beyond row 1 then your shell stitches have a very clear and defined stitch location to put all of your double crochets in. That and just watch your stitch tension. Make sure your stitches aren't too tight. You got this! 😊❤️🧶
Ok my count is 191, instead of 192. Is this because we skip two stitches at the end of the row? I double checked and my last row in Feb came out correct at 192.
Yes! Once we enter into March we are dropping a stitch in order to make the pattern work. However, staying on track at 192 stitches in January and February were important for staying on track with the patterns. 😊❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany thank you
Hello Miss Tiffany, first of all hope you are doing well and healthy ,second I do love your Chanel am trying to follow
as my life let’s me, but on this crochet project I just came on on the end of Feb and did not see how the pattern for the first half of the crochet is done ,you had your sample and you only showed the second half of the Shell row,was wondering where can I find the pattern for the first half? It would be appreciated .I am not on Facebook too much so I do miss a lot of events, but do love crochet and like to learn new ways and or technics.once again thank you for all of the time you put in teaching us ,I am an old lady but still enjoy new things special crochet oriented.thank you so much for everything ,and you have a very nice day, sincerely a fan and a subscriber,Connie
January is the crunch stitch february is the bead stitch march is the shell stitch. if you watch all the video she explains the cruch stitch. the other 2 videos -- february stitch of the month and i believe january stitch of the month. otherwise it starts out with the temperature blanket. ua-cam.com/play/PL6HRmAfbRXTXg_J9FvreNBVuAPS0CCFEU.html
Thank you so much Adrien! That is exactly right. Connie, check out my Crochet Along Playlist on my channel for ALL the videos connected with this project. Start at the very beginning and you can absolutely catch up with us! We move pretty slowly so you have lots of time. 😊❤️🧶

Can you show us what yours looks like. I would love to see what yours looks like every now and then just to see if my work looks like yours.
Oh I did! Especially at the end when I am answering questions. 😊❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany I mean when you are teaching, like 3 dc skip sc bla bla pick it up and show what it should look like. I watched your video and I was really hoping that it would be picked up and showed because I'm not sure what row I should be on now it's probably row to and I think I did row one and I'm really confused but anyway we'll work on that when next Wednesday.
Towards the end, you said to do 1 one row per day for the 4 weight yarn, but in the beginning you said every other week. Can you confirm?
Hi Hannah! Sure thing. We are working one row every OTHER day if working with the size 4 weight yarn. We are working 2 rows per week if working with the size 5 weight yarn. 😊❤️🧶
Can you please make a spring baby blanket like a yellow and white
That sounds very pretty Maria. I will see what I can do. 😊🧶❤️
I have the same amount of stitches as you in my 4 weight and my stitches for the tan added up perfectly. I didn’t need to skip anything at the end. Did I do something wrong? 🤔
If you’re good and in count, don’t change anything. But definitely keep checking how the rows are looking to see if you do want to go back and make any adjustments. 😊❤️🧶
Hi Tiffany! I'm going to make a swatch of the fan stitch. In your swatch printout, is it the closed scalloped stitch? I couldn't find the "fan" stitch.
Oh! This is the 3 Dc shell stitch. To be exact. I actually researched once what the difference was between fan and shells stitches… there was no difference. Huh. 🤷🏼♀️
@@CrochetWithTiffany did you make a Swatch page for this? I’m trying to make the swatches and their pages and put them in a binder.
At 7:50 you say the size 4 weight should work a row every day. You meant every other day, right?
Opp, sorry about that. Yes, we are working a row every other day. I think what I meant to say was that we were only working one row on that day. 😊❤️🧶
So if I follow ch 2 and dc in first stitch then end with fan, skip 2 sc and sc in last at, I’m short 1. If I end with fan and skip 1 then sc in last 2, I’m on count. It gets alittle frustrating when row counts change and I’m unaware it’s ok. It’s it it possible to advise of stitch count at end of each new pattern so we stay on track. What’s ok and what will throw it off? Thanks!😵💫
Hi Sandi! I’m so sorry for the confusion. I just updated the pattern to reflect the 191 stitches we will have per row with the March crochet stitch. Thank you for reaching out so I could make that fix to the pattern. If you run into ANY question for this project I would love for you to join one of the inclusive zoom meeting Lives we have in the Crochet Club. I can see what you’re working with and be able to help you immediately with the project. I do hope you give it a try. Members.CrochetWithTiffany.com

Thanks for your response bits greatly appreciated. Just one other thing that would be so very helpful. If you could give the same information / answers to questions etc to the followers making the 5 weight project. I’m actually doing the 5 weight along with another person and when she saw the 191 st on your response she 🤯, lol. Thanks for all you do. This will be a beautiful throw.
Hi, my name is Hope and I just finished February. The edges are starting to widen, but the stitch count is correct what should I do?
Keep moving forward. February threw everybody off with the sides naturally wanting to slant. You will feel much better with March’s stitch. 😊❤️🧶
I’ve done my first three rows, but I somehow lost a stitch in the transition from the SC row in February when transitioning to the March stitch. Is this just a feature of the pattern for March? Or should I do something to fix it?
Great question Gail. That is correct! In the first row for March’s 3 Dc She’ll stitch we ended the row skipping 2 stitch spaces ultimately changing the stitch count from 192 to 191 stitches per row. My apologies for not being more clear on that. I hope this helps. 😊
I finished two rows of March and now I have 191 stitches. Is this the new count for the fan stitch? I had 192 at the end of February.
Great question Lisa! You are good with 191 in March. Remember in the video when at the very end of row 1 we skip one extra stitch to finagle the March Stitch to work? That was us taking the 192 stitches to 191. So you are perfectly on track for March! Great job! Keep going. 😊❤️🧶
@@CrochetWithTiffany I was hoping you would say that!! Thank you!
I could not get my gauge to match yours. So ended up with a multiple of 2+1 and everything has been fine, however there is no way I’m ending on a shell I have one more repeat so I’ll have to figure that out.
Yup, I had to end by sc skip 2, 2 dc in last stitch pretty much how the row started. Then starting with a sc skip one 3 dc repeat.
@@Gingerrrrsnapps Honestly, I really don't know why we have to wait until the end of the month to see how the shell stitch is working out for everyone. Why wait until the end of the month for someone to tell us that they have experienced similar issues that could have been avoided.
Hi JoAnne, Refer to the community tab where I mention some problem and solutions. Also, check out my Crochet Club Membership on my website where we have a forum dedicated to the Temperature Blanket Crochet Along and weekly live chats where I can answer questions immediately. I hope this helps.
@@Swtnovember29 it can be a little frustrating, I don’t pay for the subscription, but I’ve been crocheting for years, because of this I was ok going for matching the length and not the count but keeping with the pattern, I’m a tight crocheter normally cannot match swatch to save my life and have learned to adapt. My experience helped with the February gangster lean which didn’t bother me cause the counts were right and the beads were only being worked in one direction. With the shell I ended up with one more repeat than the designer and after comparing and seeing that we were using the same location for our shells etc, I just had to improvise and mine is symmetrical where hers starts high and ends in a valley. The newbies will have difficulty and while this is my first experience with this creator she is super responsive and offers support and other posters such as my self sharing solutions. I also hate turning chains so I use the standing double crochet etc. everyone is going to be a little different. If you have questions I’d love to help.
@@Gingerrrrsnapps Thank you so much for your response. It really helps! Have a wonderful day!
What is the stitch below the shell stitch?
Bead stitch
I know I ended February with 192 stitches but I keep coming up with 191 in my March stitch. But I end with the correct number to skip, before my SC Any idea where I’m going wrong?
You are so close I’d say don’t even worry about it! As long as you can do the March stitch, you’re good! 😊❤️🧶
I have had the same issue and I can’t figure out what I did wrong. It looks uneven like I’m missing a stitch after 3 rows so I think I’ll need to go back and add one in somehow.
Help I am only counting 191 stitch how do I correct this😢
Per Tiffany - Yes! Once we enter into March we are dropping a stitch in order to make the pattern work. However, staying on track at 192 stitches in January and February were important for staying on track with the patterns. 😊❤🧶
Thank you so much JoAnne! 😊❤️🧶
Now I am happy because I was on track until I started March woohoo
