It really only becomes problematic when casting- like it's a joke besides that, but where do you draw the line on casting?
Well, the stereotypes towards Europe nationalities weren't that bad. I mean:
1 We wear lots of profume. Italy, France and, I think Poland, are the populations that really use the most profumes.
2 Boys here can have a purse and not be considered gays ALMOST everywhere. Same thing for the kilt.
3 Soccer game really makes you dressed with shiny shirts and tiny shorts.
4 That thing about French bisexuality can look kinda offensive, but if you look at the statistics the percentual of the bisexuals in the French population is the highest of all Europe. And plus the only way that you can think is offensive is if you think that there's something wrong with bisexuality or being accused of bisexuality. If you don't, then it's fine. Good for them: they've got more choice and it's nice that somewhere it's starting to be accepted.
5 We say "Ciao Bella". Well, in Italy some gays do it.
6 Kisses on both cheeks: if you don't do it, here you're considered simply rude.
7 Waxed chest: there are so many hetero men here like that that I didn't even know that it was considered a "gay" thing.
8 Pointed shoes. Well, yes, they were really popoular in Europe. Either if in the last decade not so much.
