Get the vibram sole 8870 Newlfex in 5MM it comes in tan color, it will add some height in profile but you can cut it to fit and make quasi "half sole" it will last a long time and you can probably keep gluing new pieces on as they wear through protecting the oem leather sole for many generations.
Absolutely can not wait to get mine!! I needed this video to fill the wait. Completely random question but does your order still say needs to be printed?
Yes my order says the same. My guess is that is the new “BOM Printed and filed” status. Except maybe they don’t print until later? Not sure though. Care to share your spec?
@EDHBlvd absolutely! 10 inch, cut top, pull loop, brass hooks and eyes, thurman 55, classic heel stack, honey vibram, bees wax edge. I gotta get those laces you have they compliment your pair really well.👌
@EDHBlvd I'm really excited and your videos on natural dublin are among the best of the best. Thank you for the lace info! I will have to continue lookinh for some longer ones.
@@EDHBlvd man great video I have talked with cobblers and not a lot of cobblers will work on Stitch down because the Rapid E won't go threw so thick of leather
I know it might sound crazy, but; what about sending those to Frank's for the resole? Yeah I'm a fan... I have a Badalassi Carlo Pueblo veg tan build in progress and they handle it carefully. Nonetheless, I'm curious about getting a Lancaster Dublin build at some point. That stuff is like 9 oz! 😂
These have aged gracefully, thanks for the review Ed Hardy!
Very beautiful boots and yes Natural Dublin is one of the best leathers you can get from horween
Love the way it ages. Excited to see how they look in a moctoe
Did you order a pair with a moc toe?
@@EDHBlvd yes. 6” with the white wedge
No conditioning but a lot of brush strikes, nice semi gloss and insane patina!! Regards from México!
Great update! Making me itch for my w&c leather-soled 67 tankers.
Excellent, interesting video. I agree, that patina is gorgeous. Fun watch, thanks!
Man, i absolutely love these. Fantastic boots!
Thanks Brandon! When you gonna make a video on your Palisades? Would be the first on YT.
@@EDHBlvd haha, it’s hilarious that you mention my Palisades, because I am actually holding one of them as I speak.
These boots looks incredible
Thanks dude. Did you happen to buy from the Limited Run a couple weeks ago? Or too many other boots on order?
@@EDHBlvd I already had the monarch and a pair of ready to ship in order before the Dublin offer came. So I didn’t get to order them
@@qltyboots so many boots, so little time. 😬

@@F.R.G317 DAMN. 10” of Dublin. Smokin!
@@F.R.G317 the laces are the “54" LO STIVALE MATTE COGNAC STEERHIDE LACES” from Guarded Goods. But you’ll need something longer for a 10” boot.

Im honestly contemplating hand sewing a dr soles half sole on myself when the leather wears thin enough to worry about.
Ya man. I’ve thought about the same. Buying a leather awl and some thick thread. If it turns out shit I could also just have cobbler resole.

@@johnversluis3084 ya that’s why I’d use Unsung House. They will work on stitchdown and do hand stitch.
Fantastic sir
Thanks dude!

Franks won’t do resole by hand. They also use machine.
@EDHBlvd for an extra $100 they do hand stitchdown like Whites does
the dublin is back on website? do you have a link mate?
It was up about a week or so back. Sold out in like 24 hours.
