@@marianneberonilla4384I think theres a passage where Katniss talks about Caesar in the first book and how he'd been hosting it for as long as she could remember and that whatever he was doing to stave off aging, she wasn't sure how old he actually was.

That one was below the belt. But again, it's The Hunger Games universe, what can you expect? Pretty euphemisms, blissfully ignorant, immature and selective narratives, utopian universes, last minute savior plot for everybody and fairytale endings? You have Disney for that.
I love how in the books Pup Harrington would not shut up about Lamina and how amazing she was to the point that Snow was glad when Lamina died but in the movie he’s just “yeah” 😆

Let's be honest for a second, people... we all know that we need a movie or at least a short film about this icon and his family. His humor and how he describes such things were the best parts of this film.
Lucky never catches the second coin he tosses, I think it would have been a pretty funny post credits scene if it had lucky suddenly remember it and then catch it
*Enter the snake barrel* Nobody: Lucky: "Wouldn't it be funny if it was candy 😃?" JASON SCHWARTZMAN'S PERFORMANCE IS GOLD NOBODY ELSE WOULD BE ABLE TO REPLICATE THE UNDERRATED FLICKERMAN ❤❤❤
im reading the book rn and I absolutely LOVE lucky's character🤣 he brings the sunshine and colorfulness to the gloomy games! I can't wait to see the movie❤ and bro needs his own book or movie cuz the flickermans r ALWAYS ✨ICONIC✨

Because this takes place roughly 300 years in the future where at some point earth had suffered an ecological disaster that caused every government in the world to collapse and set humanity back by at least a century, also I wouldn't say it's all 60's technology, I'd say it's more retro futuristic.

Tuberculosis on legs is crazy
no because when he said all colors lead to gray he knew he ate that up
this man really brought the comedy out of the movie, my favorite character really
Thank god for Lucky Flickerman actually - this movie is dark and really cruel, so I was very glad to have his comments I could laugh at...
Seems like Flickerman and Willy Wonka could be cousins. 😂😂
I saw this last week I’d low key watch a movie where he’s hosting the show as the hunger games evolves
And we could see him possibly training his son Cesear and how Cesear eventually takes over as host for Lucky
the flickermans are so iconic
The man who needs no introduction...proceeds to overly introduce himself
One of my favorite things they added in the movie was Lucky always beefing with Festus
Why was he beefing with him?
"when your tribute dies get out of here" made me laugh wayyyyy more than I should have
I can't believe they missed the chance to put his joke from the book about the coriolanus snow in district 12 while coryo: 👍 and laughed awkwardly
What was the joke?

This actor did amazing... the Flickerman’s have a presenter’s gene in the family! 😂💜

the casting was so perfect
I had to admit Jason Schwartzmans performance as a ansestor to Ceaser Flickerman is really good.
His father.
He's so cringey, it’s so good, I love it!! 😂 exactly like he is described in the book, so well casted!
he made everything so unserious 😅 so out of pocket

Jason Schwartzman didn’t need to prepare for the role, he’s sooo good at being himself 😂

Why the heck did they revert to ’60s technology in this film?
