imagine watching the guy you bullied in highschool becoming a rockstar, playing a song in front of thousands of people that is called just like the name you used to call him to diss him... JD f*cking outclassed everyone. having that in mind makes this performance even more epic.

Lol Jon Davis’ father was famous, the kids at school worshipped him. These famous folks play a relatable part, like an actor in a play.
@@mickeywicked478 his dad may have been famous, but that doesn't mean he didn't struggle. And the success of his dad doesn't make him not a victim of sexual abuse or bullying, and he was bullied a lot when he was in school. Also, let's say his dad was famous, why the hell did he live in Bakersfield? That place is a meth infested hell
This is the heaviest song about a bundle of sticks that I have ever heard.
DriZnK XD
Word. If it were about folks who liked ass fucking it would just be lame
Best comment ever award goes to you 😆

@@YoungDeathWish lmao.
As someone who got called a “faget” every day for years like it was my first name growing up, this song hits home. Legendary performance
Mage a tiktok channel and get rich while being SOOO normalq
@@n1mand what the fuck does this even mean
3:46 That shit gets me pumped every time
Omg fucking same
Fr fr everytime they do stuff like that in their songs
that micro second of silence, and the explotion after that, gives me life.
RIGHT??????? that part is my favorite in the entire song..
@@mexyeet6569 it’s my favorite part too. And Faget is my favorite Korn song, so it’s pretty much my favorite moment in any Korn song. Since that’s my favorite part I always wanted to know what they lyrics were so I knew what to sing when I’m listening to it and singing along to it. I didn’t trust any of the lyric websites online because it was clear they were all just guessing. I tried for like 2 years to get to the bottom of it, until last year I met Korn twice. The second time I asked Jonathan what he said at that part and he told me that part is just scatting, so there is no actual lyrics there. 😄
5:17 Those backing vocals are brutal man...
Head is the shit
Definitely makes the outro so much better
His backing vocals on Ball Tongue were even better. I always liked Head's screams more then JD's
Wow, those bullies must feel really silly now. Jokes on them.
Swiatlocien Yeah lol, he’s probably richer than all of them combined. Karma..
fucking snowflakes. there's a story behind this song
best performance ever!!!
Honestly Fuck bullies they can fuck off and die
JMS Student i wouldn’t say go die id say they all can get aa and tombstone and get their asses kicked
Head is such an underrated screamer
agreed.
Yup.
Yea especially in the song “Lies”
Agreed but JD can’t hold a screaming candle to Chester Bennington.
@@ryanjofre While he can't scream like Chester, JD can growl as deep and powerful as any deathcore singer
At 4:53 I love how that "WHO AM I" from the crowd sounds!
so fucking powerful!!! even with no energy the shit comes to life in me with this song!!
Good baby feelin
God bless Korn, the most imposant Band in their music genre.
Jon said "God is making fun of me though" lol
I love JD but now they are a complete shit band lol
@@gertrummo9007 lies
@@gertrummo9007 definetly NO
I don’t know about the most important, really a lot of bands hold that title, it’s hard to give that to one specific band.
The crowd response is insane.
They all got cancelled for shouting that word.
When Jonathan Davis was a kid he was always teased, harmed, and beaten by others in school. He was constantly called homophobic names. This song "Faget" was inspired by Davis' experience of being bullied.
That fukin sucks but this song kicks ass
Thats also the reason he has the HIV tattoo.
Diatribe Podcasts wait really?
Right
He also had a boyfriend in high school
As a straight man who has always been feminine and appeared “gay” this song really represents what I’m about. I have been called a “faggot” so many times and bullied for my feminine side but in reality, I am straight. Love my gay brothers and my straight brothers but we need to end the cycle of bullying of people who don’t fit the norm
Just remember, they do it bc they're insecure and feel threatened by those who don't fit the "norm".
THIS
faggot is a slur u can only say it if ur homo 😭
Oh God do you hate women? Um, sorry if you were not excluding women and bi people.

3:44 my favorite part😊
Mine too!
It still gives me goosebumps
I’m pretty sure it’s everyone’s honestly, even in the live concert of theirs they hosted for the release of The Nothing, they played this song. It’s when everyone goes insane 😅

Yep he sure is bitches
Where did you see them? I was at the Bakersfield show.
I grew to become a Korn Fan. I was born 07/07/1999 this is like the soundtrack of my life.
Me too bitch
I was born in may of 1999, been a Korn fan for quite a few years now, and I'm just upset I didn't find them sooner
I started dating my wife in November of 99. Thanks for making me feel old
This actually sounds better than the studio version
Lol it’s all distorted
all live music does bro xD argentine 08 korn check out that festival m8
Damn. Korn is good live. I've been listening to metal for 20 years and I just started listening to Korn last week. I didn't realize.
Well this was 23 years ago, these days they don’t have that same energy.
The old bootleg live albums of the 90's were great. Funny thought most hated or loved korn till the third album dropped. After that the world and mtv loved them. Personally for me the first two albums were their best work. They kind of sold out by follow the leader
Head changed his guitars 3 times in that song.. lol #TuningProblems
They Need a sound crew.. or something lol
That's the problem with a standard..... never stays in fucking tune lmao
Just need a good setup. Probably because of the humidity from being outside.
All the members from Korn told about his nightmare experience with the sound in Woodstock, really the worst.
Thought it was 2 times
Man I get goosebumps watching this the sheer energy of the old days the passion not a bunch of phones held up by people not living in the moment.
ok boomer

Jonathan is such a great performer!
it's hilarious to realize that the band Bush played after this set lol. there was absolutely no way Bush were going to be able to follow Korn's set with the same energy.
they did tho
They actually did tho
Bush got some bangers
Gavin Rossdale was high off his ROCKER that set. Some good drugs were circulating that show 💀
