I love KARE’s logo at 0:50. Its subdued yet confident. Pretty much all of Gannett’s logo renditions scream “confident” in their high place in the echelon of media conglomerates.
4:36 the fact that a 16:9 version of this exists is surprising even the WUSA one from my area, I never knew what Gannett was but I didn't know they had it in my area too. Are there any idents after 2011 is what I'm wondering
There's this ident I discovered Saturday afternoon that had the KTEN logo on it. However, the announcer (who happens to be Charlie Van Dyke) says "News 10 is a production of Gannett, an equal opportunity employer. This shows that KTEN is one of the first television stations to be owned by Gannett (now called TEGNA).
KOCO TV ABC 5 now Hearst KVUE TV ABC 24 sold to Belo, which was bought by Gannett shortly before the TEGNA spinoff. And in Little Rock, Gannett later bought KTHV CBS 11.

UPDATE 12/29/23: I have discovered 4 more Gannett Deathstar idents. They are: WJTV, WKYT, KIFI, and KRIS.
