This is cute but they also didn’t have parents telling them to do chores while your in class or right before a class.
TRUE. During my class, I would be forced to make my siblings sandwiches a billion times a day
I KNOOOOOOW. I always get the “Well you wouldn’t have to do (insert chore) now if you had done it before class” like ma’am I need all the sleep I can get I’m not getting up at 6 to do the dishes.
I am home alone all day so I guess I am lucky but I need to clean my room spot clean guinea pig cage no complaint about those but then my dishes need to be done and most of the time a extra chore and I make my own food

@@rubybocanegra3347 Thats stupid, its completely ok and appropriate to be uncomfy showing ur face. Its not the exact same as being at school, everyone can see you/is looking at you through that screen, at school were all facing the same way. You should try to be a karen and complain, I don't have to show my face but we get a 10 min lecture of bs if we dont use our cameras. So yes we "have to" but not really at the same time lmao. Some try to make us turn our cameras on for 2 secs in the beginning of class, and then we can turn them off.
As a High School Senior, your classes shown here were *nothing* compared to the crap we have to deal with on online school. For anyone who thinks it is an easy experience, it’s not. School is really hard, and the only thing it is teaching me is patience.
Dang what classes you got going on. My online schooling was just random assignments in Google classroom and that's it. We don't even do zoom or log in at a certain time

*THIS* is what online school has done to so many students. I used to be relatively ok at school and as much as I hate things in it, I could stand it. I wake up in the morning now, and cry for 10 minutes and then get dressed and slump at my desk and struggle the whole day with the content and with being able to find any enjoyment at all. It's so stressful and literal TORTURE! I just want to got to physical school so I can sit in a classroom and seperate my personal life to school life.

@Amber nice to hear we are going through this together. Yeah, one of my teachers is really lazy too! She’ll get worksheets off of websites and just say “do it” and if she needs to teach us something she’ll get a worksheet off the intervener again and just say “read it.”
OMG YES I CAN TOTALLY RELATE TO THIS. I literally cry daily from feeling emotionally drained. Every time I finish doing assignments and I check the courses again there are a ton more I have to do!!! It just feels like I am constantly doing work I barely understand and getting frustrated cause I am not doing as good as I used to.

omg me too :( I’m a junior so this is supposed to be the year where we consider college, cram for the SAT, juggle 19729373938 AP classes, and it feels like everyone has the same expectations of us as if we were going to school in person. but we can’t even take the SAT, can’t go on college tours, can’t handle a crap ton of online classes. At the end of the day i stare at my ceiling and wonder what I am even going to do with my life. Then I go to bed at 1AM after doing all my homework, wake up at 6AM and it starts all over again.
I used to love my room because it was my safe space but now school has invaded that too and the only way to “escape” the pressure of school is to go on a walk & be afraid that a random Karen is going to breathe on you. :/

Absolutely 💯. Im currently doing my bachelors degree in nursing. And its so hard to do because nursing is such a hands on thing. We still get clinicals, but pretty much all the labs are online. Its stressful

ok but lowkey, comments are not wrong. online class is harder, in many ways (of course you can wake up later but depending on the school, you may have class way later). in my class, we have three classes every day for five days a week. however, projects and presentations are still a thing somehow and each time the question sheets always writes 60 questions and AT LEAST 4 sheets.
not only that shy, socially “unlikeable” or awkward students have problems with opening their mics and cameras, some students also have problems at home. ALSO, “less fortunate” students doesn’t have enough devices (me) to do their online class on :(

I have 7 classes 5 days a week but some subjects like music, art and technology we just have to do an assignments. And i cant sleep in cause my classes always starts at 8am. Also on my break time i have to do all my chores and make food for my sister

It’s way different for us still 😭. I have siblings running around parents yelling. I personally have ADHD, OCD, depression, anxiety, Tourette’s, and I’m bipolar... all diagnosed. I hate it so much.

You only get 3 assignments?? Jealous. I get 1 for each class (4-5 classes in a day) and 30mins-1hr of hw each day for each class. Life is rough bro

This isn’t high-school, this is what my 7th grade did. I’m a freshman and my classes are so much harder with so much more homework.
(i’m in middle school so 7th grade) and idk of its jus me but omggg , all im learning is how to stay patient the teachers always want us to talk and participate and trust me if i were in a classroom i’d have my hand up and i’m sure everyone else would but they just push it way too far now
@@dontbeatiana I'm a sophomore in high school and it is way, way harder than they made it out to be. I have 8 hours of zoom classes a day then 2-3 hours of homework on the computer after that, and the work is very hard because the teachers don't adequately teach each subject so we just have to guess and use google to help us. I am not learning anything this year, I am merely trying to retain enough information to pass each class.

“this experience was heightened” girl please i’m in 7th grade and i get homework for every class every day (usually around 20 problems for math not 1) and i’m doing harder things than that in both math and english. also you forgot to put in the siblings and parents in the background, the knowing that if you screw up it actually affects you, the awkward breakout rooms, etc.

ffs some of my teachers are so bad at emails. two of my teachers i’ve asked in class “did you get my email?” and they both said yes and apparently just decided not to reply. 😐 and one was about a final paper
In one of my classes we had to do 13 pages of homework BUT it was over a span if a week and a half but I forgot about it 😅😬
My teacher gave me a 5 page essay for over the three day weekend. Girl just because there’s one extra day in the weekend doesn’t mean you need to give and extra SIX days. 🙄
@@weirdohuman6858 Exactly they say they are understanding (and my teachers are all nice) but they push past it and give you more work than vs regular before corona. They say here you have a essay due tomorrow and it needs five paragraphs, it’s so easy you can get it done! The most troublesome part of it is that I LOVE it, but I keep falling asleep during lectures because my molecular biology class is right after my two hour long physiology lecture.
My brain listens for the first hour and at the second one it’s like “bye bish”.
And I’m like “No brain, I like this, we have to listen”
And brains like “Jajaja no”
I feel you guys! I survived those classes but now im doing med school over zoom and its soo hard!! Don't worry you guys you got this! If your professors have zoom office hours I suggest utilizing those. That's honestly how I survived those two classes.

it wasn't, it really wasn't. distance learning in high school is way harder than this. the essays and homework assignments are definitely harder and you definitely get more. this is like what i had expected distance learning to be like but it ended up actually being much harder. this was a really cool video though and really entertaining.

Yeah, and I completely understand that it’s especially hard for seniors but me being a freshman I still find it extremely tiring for my mental health especially since I have adhd
They’ve already taken most of these classes. Not to mention most of these are seventh grade courses (I’m in seventh grade rn) it’s hard but high school is harder and they WAY understated it.
Not to mention some highschoolers are taking AP courses/honors/ib courses. So in my opinion this was unrealistic but fun to watch!

Why is this my experience with online classes...
I’m taking AP classes and 2 foreign languages. This is literally my life every day
or they post something that’s due 5 minutes before they even posted it 😭 or your teacher does a check if you’re paying attention and your docs take 5 minutes to load 🥴
I have an F and my history teacher decided to change the finals last question and turn it into an essay of minimum 5 paragraphs the day of the history final without any warning to prepare us

@@ChixNugt I only have 3 classes at a time, but they switch every half quarter. They did this during in person learning so we weren't around as many people, then kept it going when we switched to online.

I'm a teacher, and it really bothers me that so many parents are claiming to "homeschool" their children. This is NOT homeschooling. In homeschooling, the parents develop and implement the curriculum. Online learning is still taught by a professional, and calling it homeschooling implies that teachers aren't working hard when we are working harder than ever. We have been getting a lot of abuse lately :(

How does people homeschooling have anything to do with the bad titling? I just don’t think that’s fair on parents who homeschool. It’s completely different, but the kids still learn, albeit differently.
Some parents are still teaching their kids. I know teachers who post the worksheets and don’t have zoom calls or any videos so the parents have to read it and essentially teach their kids. Some are using it wrong but some parents do have to teach their kids, at least where I live.

This isn’t even close to what’s going on at my school. At my highschool we are currently getting more work assigned then our local universities. (college students and professors have both said this) plus this stuff is all middle school level education. It wasn’t “heightened” at all in my opinion 💀💀💀💀

I am in 10'th grade and the teachers degrade us so much they give us 30 ORDER OF OPERATIONS problems. I get so many assignments for work that isn't even my level just because I can't be in hybrid. It's like toture, it's a lot of work but easy work.

Y'all were talking about how hard these classes were, but this was my freshman and sophomore year classes. I'm a senior and its AWFUL and stressful. I haven't been this stressed and frustrated since middle school.
