Don’t apologize for what you spend on food and coffee! We got to visit London for 4 days at the end of our bike trip! Love London so much! Reminds me of NYC, but so much more to see.
My most shameful money habit here is a Dishoom deliveroo for my very single self 😂I'm also trying to travel at least once a month now since my time in London is limited, going to a very cold Copenhagen this weekend and taking loads of inspo from your video there! I'd be keen to see a video on how you plan your trips/eats since you always seem to pick the best food places
One might argue a Dishoom deliveroo is saving you money by not having to spend time waiting in the crazy line!! 😉 Oh yay so glad to hear it, Copenhagen looks beautiful this time of year. And I love that idea - jotting it down in my planner!
Thanks for sharing your London budget! May I ask if the fixed costs and groceries are the total of that bill or after splitting the cost with your partner?
I’m grateful that I found this video. Actually I got a job offer ( a really good, almost dream job for me ) at Thursday evening, and I am not sure of what to do. I am from sweden currently living and working in norway, and I enjoy my life after work. But my work is dreadful and soul sucking. So that is why ai applied for this job, but it feels so demanding moving to London, I feel like it will really set back my savings due to the high cost of living there, pure cultural things make come as a chock for a Scandinavian, infrastructure etc. But the job is an amazing possibility, and I would feel foolish for not taking it ( I think? ). I am 27 years old without partner, but I have found myself amazing friends here. So what I am maybe asking is, is london worth moving to for a single person ( now I know its hard because you have your husband with you ), considering that it is a very expensive city. Is it possible to find a living space safe for a young woman ( do you have any suggestions on homepages for flats etc ), does the city feels safe and of course is it worth it? Is a job worth moving, since I got the feeling you both moved due to more of a personal/lifestyle reason rather than work. I’m sorry for babbling but I just feels a bit lost and thought maybe that you who moved from the other side of earth, if you find the city worth it🙈
Hey! Congrats on the job that’s so exciting. I know exactly how you feel. It’s such a big decision. I think it’s unique for everyone and depends on what you want out of the move vs the costs you’re willing to pay. I have a lot of single friends who moved to London and are totally making it work and having a blast - but it does really depend on your unique circumstances ☺️ Hope that helps x
Think about the Muslims and what they are doing in Sweden right now. So much worse here than in Sweden. I occasionally visit Skellefteå and or Burtrask. There are many invaders here.

❤️ Ahh so glad you enjoyed it! Totally agree, so much to explore but also a lot of quaint cosy pockets ☺️
Thanks for the transparency, this is definitely helpful!

I hope you get your dream job here but I encourage you to do what you think is best
That’s such a good idea. I want a fun budget
Hey! Do you find London is more affordable than New York
Price wise in just everyday costs, yes, but the US salaries are so much better so I don’t quite think it balances out 🫤
Hi, can I ask what do you work in? :)
I work in marketing and run my social media/content business on the side ☺️
