      1.) You would have to be elected 2.) You would have to stay in a bubble for a lifetime (which most presidents hate due to no privacy).

    Mr. Freeman STATED IT CORRECTLY AT 51:50 AS LONG AS THERE IS A "REPUBLIC"...... A Republic not now nor ever a "democracy".

      There always has to be some person who has to make that comment. It is BOTH. It has always been both. It is a Republic AND a democracy. Every president has said that - even Trump. Anywhere where people directly elect representatives is in fact, by definition, a democracy. The United States is a republic and a democracy , they are both intertwined together, and always have been since the 1780s. And that is just a fact some people are going to have to learn.

      The concept of democracy has been extended to include any system of government that includes in some way the opinions and will of the people in the decision-making process. A republic could be defined as a system of government which head of state is an elected official, rather than a monarch or autocrat.
      I’d define the United States and other modern states as a democratic republic (even though this term is often associated with communist regimes).

      Also, in republics the government includes representatives of the people.
