I took my whippet out the other day, her running, me on my new mtb. She's an old girl but she still did ten miles easily, could still drop a gear and leave me in her dust. Next time I'm taking out her and her daughter. Sighthounds, and whippets in particular, are the best.
I guess im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to log back into an Instagram account? I stupidly lost my account password. I would love any help you can offer me!

I have two whippets and I keep coming back to this film. Makes me so happy every time I see it. 2:50 is awesome - you can see how hyped the dog is to get going :) Such a fantastic representation of a whippet - sleep as long as they can, then go as fast as they can :) If anyone here is looking to get a dog, whippets are amazing. There are so many sighthounds or sighthound mixes out there to adopt - please consider it.
Absolutely agree with this, we adopted a whippet in January 2020 and it has been life changing. A true best friend for life, I’m not a MTB rider but she absolutely loves trail running with me almost as much as she loves snoozing 😂
@@joey_outdoors absolutely, they are the nicest dogs you can imagine. They love to stretch their legs off leash so as long as that's something you can let it do, go for it :)
I'm staggered. I have no idea who Kelly is, but seeing how he interacts with Tui, and the obvious affection he has for this amazing animal... I'm just floored. It's clear Tui loved Kelly, too. What a cool legacy.

By all accounts a very nice guy and near mythic personality within the sport thanks to his talent on a bike. This brings a smile to my face, but then the end is bittersweet. Blessings to all of you. After my break up with my wife I was thinking about getting a whippet as a companion, and I love Mountain Biking. Now I see you can have both at the same time 🙂
I watched this video when I was about 12 I was just getting into mountainbiking and I have always found my self coming back to this video when I need motivation or inspiration, today I am 15 and going on my first proper mtb ride with my whippet Ziggy !!! RIP Kelly, such an amazing man ✌🏼
what a beautiful relationship, whippets love exercise and this here is a perfect companionship. So sad to hear that kelly passed away, but not forgotten for sure. the happiness alone shared in this video is raw and powerful. I hope Tui found a new home with someone just as eager for the great outdoors.
I can't count the number of times I have watched this. It brings me smiles and tears to my eyes. I have never met Kelly, but wish I had the chance to meet with such a kind person. It inspired me to find out more about McGazza. Though he was a super talented MTBer, the effect he had on those close to him leaves me in awe. It is the kind of person I want to be to both myself and how I treat the people around me. Kelly, we walked very different lives, but we share our love of bikes and Whippets. In my book, that makes us bros. Thank you for burning so brightly and reminding us to enjoy the ride of life. It has definitely made me take a step back and remember what is really important and to stop being so selfish, anxious and getting down about stuff that really doesn't matter. There was a Welsh Skater champ who was similarly a great genuine kind person who died way too young [Rich Taylor] These good people so modest too. Kelly had courage aplenty, a Nurse I knew was very upset about a young man [18yrs] who was super fit, slim, muscly, rugby player, who collapsed on the rugby field with a cardiac arrest...he too died despite best efforts ..hidden cardiac probs are rare, but can exist..maybe all young people who do arduous sports should get checked out?

Such a great video - as a dog lover, it made me cry. Hearing that music was just perfect, Small Town Get Up doing "Found A Reason" and "Dometree" (which is a truly awesome chill tune). I checked out more of the band's music, and their songs all sound like something Kelly would have been listening to whilst barrelling down those courses that I know I would have probably really hurt myself on. I've downloaded them, and will be listening to them the next time I go down less threatening paths. RIP, Kelly, and thanks for the great support for our sport.

I watch this video at least once a year. Always brings a tear to my eye remembering Kelly is gone and my own Whippet Flower passed a few years ago. From all you hear Kelly was an amazing personality just as whippets are amazing dogs. So sad I picked up mountainbiking too late and never shared it with my Whippet, she would have been an amazing traildog. ❤❤❤
They absolutely love to run with their owners. Every time I'd grab that bike it was as if she hadn't seen me in a whole year and I just showed up. Just excitement!

The amount of patience you must have had to set up all these cameras for this video 👏🏻 Could watch this over and over it’s addictive. My whippet loves hills but I couldn’t trust her to stay out of the way of the bike she’s slightly clumsy 😂 x

I did exactly this. They are the best companions anyone could ask for. You could also look into adopting a greyhound
I got divorced 7 years ago and got my boy 3 months ago. Now realise that should have done both years earlier.

I used to have a similar breed and I've never seen another dog express as much joy as she did whenever I'd grab that bike and the dog saw it.
