I'm sorry, but resorts in the Philippines are becoming excessively expensive, with companies appearing to prioritize profits over affordability. At this rate, the pricing model may become unsustainable. For instance, I can find a 5-star hotel/resort in Las Vegas for much less than what many Philippine resorts are charging, despite the much higher overhead costs in the U.S., including real estate, labor, and supplies. In contrast, local costs in the Philippines are significantly lower, yet the prices don’t reflect that. Sadly, most locals can’t afford these exorbitant rates, which is disappointing.
I agree on the expensive rates but comparing it with Las Vegas is like apples and oranges. Las Vegas doesn't have a nice beach that people can truly enjoy. One reason why resorts in the PI are a bit expensive, the target market are tourists with foreign currency...I guess if you can't afford it then it's not for you.
@@prosperityqueengrace9033 I'm just comparing hotel overhead expenses vs. pricing. Have you been to a 5-star resort in Vegas? Sure, they may not have beachfront locations, but their accommodations and amenities often surpass what you’ll find in many Philippine resorts. And when you look at neighboring Asian countries, you can find comparable beach front resorts for much less than in the Philippines. It’s no wonder some of these places feel empty-they’re pricey for what they actually provide. Personally, if I’m after a stunning beach without the crowd, there are many to choose from. It’s not that I can’t afford it (I've stayed in hotels/resorts that cost a lot more), but the pricing model there just doesn’t seem sustainable, eventually, inflation will catch up, and it’s the locals who will feel the impact.
Maganda nman ang place worth it nman sa price tpos parang medyo hirap puntahan. pero sana maintindihan ng iba na kapag meron resort near beach highly maintenance kaya ung ibang resort near beach medyo mahal ❤
Of course it's mahal because it's a private resort. May mga resort pa nga na mas mahal diyan, lalo na yung 3-4 star resorts sa Mactan area. One of my favorites is Bluewater Sumilon Island Resort in Oslob - value for money talaga lalo na yung day tour nila. malayo nga lang haha
Off peak po eto. And may target market yung mga ganitong Luxury resort. If may extra money, sarap ienjoy yung mga ganitong place. Less crowd mas maeenjoy mo. 😊
Maganda rin kasi yung place. And may target market din sila. I rather choose yung mga ganito, if you have extra para less crowd and mas maienjoy mo yung place. Pag mura kas expect super crowded.
