- PortAventura's Uncharted ride is NOW OPEN! We were invited to attend the media event for the brand new Intamin and Sally Dark Rides attraction; Uncharted: The Enigma of Penitence at PortAventura in Salou near to Barcelona, Spain! This new roller coaster is a multi dimensional roller coaster experience which is story lead from start to finish.

Yeah no. It’s not the best, they can’t manage queues properly, and the opening it’s a disaster.
It’s not a theme park anymore. Roller coasters ? Yeah. But theme park? No.

I think that was a great idea of combining the gold rush with Uncharted, seeing as the main characters of Uncharted are all treasure hunters. Portaventura looks like an awesome park. Would love to go someday. Looking forwards to more vlogs and video from here.

Went on it yesterday after waiting 4 and a half hours and it was worth every minute! Cannot wait to do it again later in the week when we go back
Hopefully you can catch it with a quieter queue

I'm glad you were invited to the opening of uncharted, you were at two grand openings in one year in spain, that's great! You seem to have enjoyed the coaster. I hope to ride it next November.
I understood, that after two days in portaventura ,today Sunday you will be in my homepark, warner!
I hope the coaster behaves well, it is having technical stops, as usually happens in the first weeks of this type of sophisticated coaster, but the operations are still solid on this ride, so they usually pick up the pace. In any case, if it seems more than 30 m, go and come back later, because it always reopens. Even find out when the queue closes at night, because once inside, everyone rides, even if they have a stop, and the park closes, it is usually So.
Also say hello to our colleagues from Dream Coaster, a great channel, and take a look at the new kiosk the poison ivy, with its terrace, with wonderful BGCE views ... AND HYDRATE a lot, summer is here.

@@yourexperienceguide Actually i live about4 minutes from the Atocha train station, perhaps on another occasion, that you have more time, I greet you here or in the park. My last visit was on a Sunday after 5, and I was able to see the crazy police academy specialist show, the batman show was very good, apart from riding in BGCE and Superman. I would try a second ride at BGCE, just before the queues close, be the last to leave the park, with good flavor.
By the way, check the price of the trip to Warner in the UBER or Cabify application or similar, in case it is interesting for you, due to the little time you have. Have a great time, I'm sure I'll see it.
I wasn't particularly fussed about this but looking forward to getting on it next month now. Cheers guys.

As for the ride itself, honestly don't understand why it's based off the film which didn't even do well? the video games are masterpieces why isn't it based off those?

A great video Scott and your honest opinion as usual which I always respect. Doesn’t happen very often but this time I have to disagree. For us the attraction was a real let down we went this week and the general opinion was that the queue line and area in far west was brilliant.Yes the coaster is really good with a cool and new system but inside was dreadful. Far to many blank areas you end up just looking around at black walls and the ceiling. We love portenventura and hope they add significantly to the inside of this ride. Maybe budget constraints but we were all fully let down and even staying onsite and having early access we only bothered 3 times. It didn’t ruin another great visit to pa though we just love it there.
Yeah, let’s not talk about the amount of light Inside of a DARK RIDE.
Or the 544p screen. Or the non working effects.

I'm a huge fan of the video games. Very disappointed in the film. Shame they opted to base the ride on it. Still, looks like a decent dark ride.
