To the girl who fell.. Well done O'Gitchii-dah Equay.. you're most definitely a warrior woman to be able to continue to go on after the fall... that takes a lot of courage to get up and keep on going apply that to every moment in your life and I guarantee you that nothing will ever keep you down because that's all he has a lot of meaning behind it I do believe that we all go through life in stumbling and tripping over certain road blocks that stop us from doing better in life you know how I feel like if you can get up and keep on going that you're always going to be that way or woman that people look up to good job my girl

Brooke Provost no u dance ur own style dance from ur heart don’t think about it and don’t worry about anybody else focus on u just think about why ur dancing and maybe even try to laugh while dancing it’ll bring u a lot of joy and you’ll find u can keep going but it is always good to learn some new fancy tricks to do but a little secret the judges love when u smile while dancing and after when u go to line up :)

Its a powwow dance style started on the northern plains. Women used to hold their shawl, then footwork became faster. Then one lady put the shawl like butterfly wings and current style is popular.
The tradition is to be sponsored or invited to be a fancy shawl dancer, to be given the right to dance by a known dancer with a public coming out, and new dancer thanks the sponsors with a "give-away" of gifts.
This is what I have seen, and even filmed to moment.

Felicidades.

Jan 18, 2021 Hello, Stacey Moore.
I noticed your YT account is brand new, opened for less than 24 hours as I write this response.
I see what you posted. This person you mention is not even in the powwow in my video. Why did you post here on my video?
If the person you named is a public celebrity, you can find plenty of their comedy videos on UA-cam, I'm sure. If they allow comments on their videos, there's your chance to communicate.
( I will wait a while before removing the comment, or you can remove it )
      Peace.

@@staceymoore6335 Thank you for the response, and identifying as an Elder.
      1. I am not Native. I am Celtic Irish pagan. My kids, and grandkids are mixed with Afro ADOS, Native, Mexican, & Euro.
      2. I began filming to support a powwow youth program, and my UA-cam channel just grew bigger than my capability. I am happy to see many Natives were spotted in my videos, and then benefitted with paid gigs, contracts, even carreers.
      3. Now, cellphones sophisticated enough, Natives can film each other, make Blogs / Vlogs, my time might be over with.
      4. Like I said, up to you to push your issue / concern as an Elder. I just guard against slander, and personal attacks here.
      5. I did some work with Native Comedians before. Thru my college buddy Abel Silvas, I met many big name comedians, with the late Charlie Hill being the biggest. I was in the greenroom backstage with Abel, Jim Ruel, JR Redwater, Larry Omaha, Vaughn Eagle Bear, and Charlie Hill who smudged us and said a funny prayer. Wow! I was just hanging out with Abel, but had the best seat in the house.
What I learned over time, is we like our comedians, but in certain times & places.
Some jokes, outside of a club, or outside of a theater, are not funny. So, people have to be in the mood for jokes, or social commentary, or things become insulting.
"Keep it in the club" is what one big comic told me at his home, but fans see him and expect the laughs 7/24. Such is life as a celebrity.
I don't have those problems LOL
      Peace Out.

The girl who fell and overstepped the first song got second?? The second you fall or drop a major part of your outfit, you should disqualify yourself. Hell honorable dancers used to disqualify themselves just when they overstepped, I guess it's not like that anymore. Damn money makes everything different.
