Edit: btw Batman and Wonder Woman end up in the float by getting kidnapped by Cheetah and Joker. You can see them standing behind them when they’re blocked by the parade.
The only scary part of aging is becoming unrecognizable, it's like being a paper that's had it's artwork rubbed with an eraser and smushed. Nothings more painful than standing in front of someone u considered family at some point and have them not recognize you.
I don't think that's scary. I think that's absolutely beautiful. As humans, our goal in life is to grow, to change. Day by day, we become something different. Isn't it an absolutely wonderful that people grow to the point of being unrecognizable. And then, even after all that change, we can still remain, or hell even become better friends, with the ones we have known. Imagine having a friend that hasn't grown since their teenage years, absolutely frightening.
@@yoshistover5881just like you said it is beautiful but it is also scary as well how things can change in few years and the people you once love may not be there anymore it is really sad.
I was so worried this was gonna be super depressing based off the art. But this is so wholesome and realistic. Im sure there are plenty of adults who do good things day to day because of who they idolized as a kid. Comics really do leave a positive impact
as someone who also suffer from double hernia i can really relate with Nick.i had to gave up on volleyball, cant lift things that are too heavy and cant eat too much.if i did, my intestine gonna go where it shouldnt and worse come to worse it got strangulated and my life end just like that.yet i still got mocked like "youre a man you should eat more stop fussing over your hernia" " youre a man yet you cant even lift heavy stuff" sure just like Nick,im making a fuss over something treatable, but if you dont have enough money even the treatable can become untreatable. im on my 8th years and i dont have Barnyard to pay for my surgery bill. nonetheless very relatable comic and thanks for narrating.❤
Every time I hear people not being able to afford a life saving surgery I’m getting really sad this isn’t an issue in my country personally, but it’s still heartbreaking how something essential can become a privilege for rich people.
This story just touched my hearth the artstyle is just loving and living up to who you wanted to be in yiur childhood is just awesome Thanks For sharing this amazing story to us❤
This comic made me cry cause its real, im lucky to have gotten back together with my bestfriend from elementary, we have matured but we still are best friends as we were back then, these characters are great and he is right.....the justice leauge would be proud.
Holy hell I’ve gotta get this book. Thank you for sharing this story with us. It’s just that wow, after graduating from high school and going into college I get that yeah my life is actually starting but also the fact that I’m definitely gonna get older and that there’s bills that have to be paid, plus money to be made. But that’s besides the point. Point is, I miss my friends back in elementary school. I’ve either lost contact with them, stopped talking to them because of certain circumstances, or we had no reason to talk to each other now. Out of all of them, I’ve only had one best friend who’s been with me since grade 2. But man would it be nice to live as an ignorant kid again and just horse around with little to no problems to worry about, except schoolwork.
This is what I'm dealing with right now. In my 30s life is nothing like how I had planned it. I have no idea what to really do beyond just go to work eat sleep repeat.
Unlike most superhero stories our lives don't have a guaranteed happy ending, but even if everything seems lost or you're in a bad place at the moment, don't forget the life lessons these fictional characters have taught us. We should always strive to do better, if not for ourselves then for others around us. Anyone can be a hero. From catching supervillains all the way to talking to someone having a bad day. If you really want to make change in your own life then there's only one person you can depend on to do that, you. Put yourself out there more, try and meet new people. Slow progress is still progress. I know that's not what anyone wants to hear, but I'm in the same spot you are right now, and I don't know for certain if things will ever get better, but I can hope it does. You won't ever know if you're ready, it's a leap of faith, that's all it is.
@EdwardRabbit I'm sorry if that sounded negative. I'm good a dealing with BS in life. My life isn't bad. It's just meh. It's hard to get out to meet people. I work overnight. I'm at work right now about to be done, I'm on break right now for my last half hour. Working overnight full time really restricts being able to do anything. I've got reptiles who I take care of.

You know I'm an aspiring filmmaker and this video just gave me an idea. I haven't read or seen all of the Realworlds books yet but I have seen your video on the Batman Realworlds and I have read this comic online a few days ago. I was thinking (depending on how the Superman and Wonder Woman Realworld's are) make an anthology film adaptation of this mini-series? Showing how these comics, these heroes inspired their readers. Once I read the rest of the series I think I might start penning a screenplay.
Great vid! I've never heard of this book or the Realworlds series before, but now I'm intrigued to find out more. The creative team behind this is really talented and it shows just how much they care about the messages in this work.
yeah, beautiful story it really highlights the power a good comic book story can have to inspire youths to be better as they grow up one wishes modern comics could aspire to what this story says the comics do cause its not there anymore
I have a personal story when I was younger I used to go on the playground and act like Batman, and some of my friends would help me out like they would be the villains in everything
Make a hero/villain mirror match between two homeless wizards. We can even have them hate on different types of rich bastards for those snobs who want deep character development (the hero hating the cartel cuz he’s a hero and they gave him a hard time in the past and the villain hating the one percent cuz he’s the product of social inequality or something)
So this version is just like they pretended to be superheroes as children? I like it it feel very.......dc comics that sense of wonder yknow and it's way better idea that the wierd marvel in real life comic covered which I just finished watching
Here is how I would do it. Clark kent reporter does a story on Lex crop corruption also draws superman cartoons for the paper. Batman is batman no powers there, The flash police scientist vs captain cold and the rouges, no cold gun just a normal gun not called captain cold. Green lantern millitary, Aquman and wonderwoman no idea
11:47 well seeing as all of the people involved are white it can't possibly be racist plus the original slaves were in fact white. The word slave comes from the word slav as in Slovenian . So when you say the word slave you're not talking about black people.
I’m not gonna act like Karen isn’t trying to sleep with all of them. She literally slept with Superman even though he has a wife and proceeded to get with Batman.

You should travel to some country where healthcare is free for tourists. There are several who offer that .
This has to be one of the best comics I've ever read
Just goes to show that not all superhero stories have to be crazy action-packed
Totally agree! It used characters we're all familiar with to tell a story that some of us NEEDED to hear, and might otherwise have ignored. Genius
I love that you say that and honestly believe that, look at the movie "Glass." It uses that idea exactly.
