The d&b Venue database. An introduction.

The d&b Venue database helps system engineers plan for venues they have not necessarily been to yet. The Venue database speeds up the planning workflow by supplementing the d&b ArrayCalc simulation software with reliable, meaningful, high quality venue information including photos, structural peculiarities, and clearances. In this video, d&b Product Manager Santiago Alcalá and Janko Ramuscak from d&b’s Education & Application Support team join the 2019 tpi Sound System Designer of the Year winner Liam Halpin. Together, they discuss the idea behind the project, the quality criteria that ensure dependable venue data and how d&b users can contribute to this powerful timesaver.
