    Sahaja Yoga is a unique method of meditation based on an experience called Self Realization (Kundalini awakening) that can occur within each human being.
    Through this process an inner transformation takes place by which one becomes moral, united, integrated and balanced.
    One can actually feel the all pervading divine power as a cool breeze, as described in all religions and spiritual traditions of the world.

    i love this short meditation, it stirs me deeply from within causing me to shed tears at times, I feel its a release of negative heavy energy. Afterwords I feel light and joyous. A wonderful voice presenting without a hint of ego. This is a very powerful meditation for me taking me quickly to an inner place of peace and harmony. Wonderful haunting music.Thank you so much.

      A shed of tears and a release of heavy energy and a feeling of bliss can be signs of spiritual deception. You can easily fall into spiritual prelest.

    I just discovered this myself during a group meditation, and have done buddhist meditation for a few years. I don't follow/believe in gurus, or pseudo-gods that people elevate to that level either. The video really helps with what we practiced.

      Hi Jay, the essence of Buddhism is that we are, you are, in your true Self - pure consciousness. The target experience is that you awaken into thoughtless awareness - the great Silence. This is true ultimately of all true pathways. The essence of this practise is to awaken the central pathway of evolutionary consciousness. Names can get in the way but if it works for you - it's Good. :)

    paul its so working superbly ,I tried so many meditation to remove my pain but I think its the fastest and good one.I never believe in godman but mataji techniques made me to think again

    This is very short and easy meditation without any fluff and frills. Personally, I do not believe in gurus and avatars. I do believe that we are surrounded by energy and vibrations. A person can establish a direct connection with the source of energy by following a certain lifestyle: Healthy organic food, clean water, pure thoughts and good deeds. When you build a connection with the source, good things start happening to you. I am willing to give this form of meditation a try. Thanks for posting this video.

    Thank you so much for posting this meditation! Your illustrations were very helpful in showing where to place the hand. It was the clearest guide I could find. A class is starting up in a town close by to me in 2 weeks but I was glad to begin the practice now. This was my second time using your guided meditation.

    Hello everyone, i am abha from India, 16 year old girl and interested in sahaj yoga and for the very first time, today tried it but didn't felt any vibrations at all..
    So i decided to meditate 5 am in morning and in evening 6 pm dor 5 to 10 mins regularly.. if any of you can explain me how can i raise my kundalini faster it will be a blessed help :) Jai shree mataji!!

    this helped me a lot, thank you for making and sharing this with us. normally i find it easy to go into meditation when i do group meditation and i can't seem to meditate when i'm alone but this really helped and i was able to be calm and thoughtless for a moment. thank you !

    Perfect quality. could you please make a guided one with staying every chakra for about 10-15 seconds (with mantras) and 2-5 min for sahasrara which sums up to 15-20 mins or so? thank you very much in advance :)

    You have a peaceful voice. I like to meditate to the sound of your voice. You are a man of few words and that works for me when I am trying to slow down the chatter inside my brain.Can you make a simple 10 minute version and a 20 minute version? Other meditation clips I have found on UA-cam are too noisy and too wordy. If I am busy listening or visualizing or affirming, then I am not really meditating, am I?

      We are made by God, in God, and evolving in Spirit. God the Father is transcendent, but reflected as your Spirit in your heart. God the Mother is Immanent, the Power of God, Like Mother Earth, Mother Nature, and Mother Kundalini, who is reflected in you Sarum bone. We can ask Him to Bless, and Her to Rise. Thats you're Yoga.

      are we suppose to do this everyday or is it just a one time thing? to my best observations, nowhere in any of matajis videos does it explicitly say that we have to do it everyday as a guided meditation routine. Confused.

      Its a state of thoughtless awareness and flow. Formally morning and night but actually you can remember to be in your awareness often. Its your true self in that Silence ~ :-)

    Has anyone felt when they hit that meditative state that their body is slowly waving side to side the a flame on a candle?

      Tyler the upward flow of Kundalini may induce some very light swaying as it rises, but typically in a mature yogi this is not the normal case, as the attention becomes more stationed in the upper areas above the crown, and thoughtless awareness is naturally and easily sustained, the breathing naturally slows and the body becomes more erect and still.

      Yes the Divine Source transcendent unmanifest we can call as Brahma. The Source then manifests as the Father, Shiva, Source Consciousness and co incidentally as Mother, Shakti, Source Power. These very highest chakras are 9 and 8 respectively and from the this primordial or Adi Shakti by Her power of Maya the three Powers, Gunas, Nadis are produced and also the resulting dimensions, multiplicity, creativity, evolution etc are all Created. So in us the Source Consciousness Shiva is our Spirit, the reflection and Source Power Shakti is the Kundalini is us. So these Poweres are at Causal, Subtle and Physical worlds and are Mother at every level including Mother Earth and Mother Nature.. i so understand ~ :-)

    why can't one meditate wothout the photo? since other meditation technique do not require such object.

      Hi Sanjay. Hmmm There have been and are several types of yoga practices including Bhakti devotion and Advaita, self inquiry. These may well take one into Silence but not very high up in your Sahasrara. People are sometimes taught this Sahaja Yoga Kundalini technique without necessity of the photo however your Kundalini is the reflection of the Adi Shakti, the primordial Source of Power, the Divine Mother. She must be auspiciously requested as Mother to rise in order to awaken fully past the narrow gate of ego and mind at the forehead. With Shri Mataji's incarnation it has become possible for enmasse Kundalini awakening and this happened effortlessly in Her company and even by proximity of Her photograph. Shri Mataji was thus recognised as the person who can awaken Kundalini up into Sahasrara, and also communicate complete knowledge of Kundalini and Subtle Body. Her efforts were about helping people realise their Spirit and utilise their new vibrational awareness and discretion to become their own master, their own guru. It was a Divine dispensation that She awakened Kundalini so easily but the work of individual purification necessary to sustain this experience and spiritually ascend was found to be much easier with Her photo. Thus it is included here.

      +Gloria Terry Hi Gloria, when your spiritual essence is manifesting you are in the Silence. This 5 minute guided sequence is a sure method to introduce, overview, guide through the complete Sahaja Yoga Kundalini awakening procedure with conducive music to go up into Silence. The core affirmation is I am the Spirit, and the expression of your pure desire by asking Mother Please give me or please deepen my Self Realisation. When you are in thoughtless awareness then you need do nothing else but allow your attention to dissolve into the flow at the top of your head. Its spontaneous, effortless ~ Sahaja :)

      Once your Kundalini has risen you begin a new stage of awareness and you can learn to know yourself, problems on your chakras, and how to balance, clear and deepen your experience. Try and find a program close by and attend. Kundalini is purifying and you make progress when you are thoughtless and feeling flow from fontanel over head. Persist and allow your mind, past and ego self to become secondary to your height in meditation. Love Pavan

    is this really work? I mean by just changing your hand possition from stomach to head and chanting, how is this possible to raise your khundalini?

      Yes it really works. The postures and affirmations are just to facilitate the progress of the Kundalini to rise. The power of your pure desire, and the auspicious recognition that your Kundalini is the reflection in you of the primordial Power of the Divine Mother is sufficient. Its simple because its Essential. Ask Her to rise and give you your Yoga, your Self-Realisation and She will. It is a progressive realisation and it requires practice but its very spontaneous, and natural. Congratulations you have found it!

    I do not understand why it's so necessary to meditate with the Shri Mataji picture.

      The goal is to become your own master or guru. Kundalini spontaneously arises in the presence of realised souls. Shri Mataji has a very pure character or quality and so Kundalini flows more easily when you put your attention on her. Try with and without. Once your Kundalini rises you become progressively more established.

      It works, i've tried it, when you put out your left hand to the picture after meditation you feel the energy inside you growing stronger. Thats all I know, it works.

      If nothing else, it's simply a sign of acknowledgment or reverence of the individual who 'gave us' this technique. I believe eyes should be closed mostly anyway during the session.

    It is not just a Meditation. You are giving your soul to shri Mataji. At the sahaja yogis: ask yourself who is your master? Maybe some of you will say I am my own master. But Shri Mataji is your Master. You are signing contracts with the spiritual world by doing this meditation and your soul is owned. Interesting that nobody mentions this fact. Everbody is like, it is just a meditation, nothing to it.
