okay so if one of you decides to turn this song into a map that's totally fine by me
but if you do please don't reference your map from this video, since this is sort of a vent and somewhat personal to me
just like some of you wanted to turn this into a meme I mean there's nothing wrong with it but seeing an actually meaningful animation/pmv of mine slowly turning into a worthless meme that literally everyone is going to do is just kind of,, sad to me
since there will of course be a bunch of people who will only be doing this literally to "jump on the bandwagon" without having any serious reason or a backstory to doing that "meme"
but yeah what I actually wanted to say with this is that if you want to do a map with this song, make sure that it isn't exactly referenced of my pmv and that the people you let in your map don't trace over it
and if you really want to do this for your own please include something in the description that doesn't lead everyone else to do this as well
and please don't forget to credit me

Okay, let me just say something.
I understand this video was made over 6 months ago, and I only have now taken the time to see it And after reading the description, and the comments, I decided to check out the map.
I have quite a few questions actually, like why exactly everyone is going all crazy about the map "copying" this AMV? The only similarities is the light color scheme, and even that, is very different from the one used in this video.
This isn't in particular Zotiel's fault, though partially it is??? The person who made the map actually CANCELLED it, because Zotiel's rabid fans had to attack the creator and give her a ton of hate. When reading the description of map casting call, she explains she had never seen this video before, and had no intentions of whatever the internet's crazy definition of copying is. I understand this was a vent I guess, and its personal to you, but the map and your video has almost no similarities. I honestly do NOT have any idea as to why everyone went crazy over that map.

Originally there was nothing between that map-maker and Zotiel, but because people saw that there was a map for the song with a similar color-theme and since Zotiel has said in the description not to copy her, people got mad at the map-maker and it got cancelled because of all the hate and peer pressure
Sometimes the world gets sadder when you know that there's people who will blindly do things because the people their "following" put down a rule or request for other people not to do something

still, you should ask the artist who made it. It doesn't matter how you use it, you should still ask for permission. Imagine how you'd feel if someone took a drawing from your sketchbook without your permission and hung it on their wall. Because there are artist's who will be okay with it but there are also artist's who will hate it
