I haven't tested it with the old Cisco VPN client, but my guess is that it will work. Kerberos has been supported for VPN authentication since the ASA first came out. As to the memory comment, it doesn't require more RAM, it requires more flash memory. If you don't care about Cisco support, you can use aftermarket flash. I've successfully upgraded flash to 2GB and, so far, it seems to be working with no problem. Of course, be sure to test it yourself before deploying it in production.

GNS3 supports ASA software version 8.0(2) and earlier. As far as I know, it does not support current software versions, although I have seen some forum posts where people claimed to get version 8.4 working. One thing that a lot of my students do is purchase a 5505 for testing purposes. Good luck!

    Thank you for your reply.
Well, I´ve inherited an ASA with 10MB RAM free (4%) and 118MB flash space.
I´ve created some .pcfs pofiles but with this way of logging is more flexible and fast.
I should try it in a virtual lab before use it, do you have some preferences to test a virtual ASA5510??.
    Thank you.

GNS3 is what I use, but my ASA has v. 8.2(5)33 and it´s better to have on the virtual lab the same as the reality. I´ll let you know.
    Thank you again.
