SILENCE || Where is Kanoa? || Shot on Sony

From Tanner Carney: "We filmed the Hawaii part right before the pandemic hit and then we were able to escape during quarantine to Tahiti for the end section. Kanoa wanted to surf these waves because he knew where his weakness was and wanted to put himself in the environment that he needed the most work on. We were over sitting at home locked in and needed to get out. Luckily a sneaky swell was coming through Tahiti and we got the next flight out. The entire video consisted of one week in Hawaii and a week filming in Tahiti. I think it was our first trip that we didn't post anything on social media and just laid under the radar, in "silence". We are both stoked on how the edited turned out and it just might be my best piece of work yet".
I want to thank Sony for the support and this film would not be what it is without shooting on the new A7riiii.

Kanoa Igarashi you are truly my favorite surfer & obviously one of the best surfers in the world also the cutest surfer there is no doubt that you will be in top 5 soon (to be honest I think you can be top 3) & will qualify for the olympics on july 23, 2021 & also i wanted to say how totally awesome this short film was that you (Kanoa Igarashi) & Tanner Carney filmed really dudes the shots were so beautiful & being able to watch you surf is always amazing so please Kanoa & Tanner make more youtube videos because i love being able to watch you grow as a surfer & a person i hope i can meet you one day & keep being the best version of you & don’t let listen to all the negative things that people have to say because your truly amazing dude .
