do you have fun playing this game? also i seen an opportunity in here that not only you can make a house from begining, you can make a town in around it? like a neighbourhood houses? but the interior and vibes its pretty simple i hope they would develop to more unique design and aesthetics
It has a lot of potential I think and I enjoyed making this little house, you can build neighbourhoods yeah, the mode I used for this video was just free build so it gave you a plot of land that you can build on, I only chose to do the one house though. There are also a decent amount of items to choose from I just chose to have this build pretty minimalist, and as mentioned you can change the colours of everything so the design styles could be endless ^^ It's also still in development so things can change and more can be added :)
I wonder how Hometopia will compare to House Flipper 2 when it comes out... Hometopia seems to be almost "too serious" so far, with little "personality", but we'll need to wait for the release version to know for sure. Also, does anyone know what the business model is going to be like? Some people say "free to play", but how are they going to monetise it?
I'm not entirely sure how/if it will be monetised, maybe something to keep an eye on once it's released, some games have furnishing packs if it's going to be free then that could be a possibility. I think It's cool to have something that looks very realistic though as a game it's a nice change, and a new house design/decorating game is always welcome in my opinion ^^
@@ChaoticJelly Thanks for replying! The Hometopia interface looks a bit strange - it's as if at least some of the options are worth points. Which implies they would unlock as you play. But the devs would probably include a premium currency as well, as is usually done in F2P games.
If you mean is the game free to play no, sadly they changed it just before release so it's not free to play anymore. If you mean an empty plot to build your own homes you can buy empty plots of land ^^
Do you know if this game still will have NFT's? As I'd rather avoid crypto, and this game was really into promoting NFT's in the past on their twitter, so I'm rather skeptical
