The Dyson might not have the best results if you used it on dry hair :) I couldn't tell from the video, but it did look like your hair isn't wet, and pretty much no hairdryer will do much difference to your hair if it's already dry. That's like trying a new mascara by applying it on top of another mascara, you won't see any difference.
