I bought Shadow, Sonic and Knuckles, they're super nice figures for the price, they could possibly be my top figures of 2024. My Shadow sadly has leg issues.
Fun fact the figures were out before the trailer. I found Sonic and robotnik the day before the trailer came out and then tails the day after. Shadow took a bit longer to find and then like 3 weeks ago I found the single carded release of knuckles and super sonic after being worried that I wouldn't be able to find them. Makes me so glad that essentially all the figures for these waves have been very easy to find and at least one figure company has great distribution.
6:08 another bran that does the glass eye thingy is Mattel with their jurrasic world Hammond collection eyes.(Hammond collection is “premium” jurrasic world figures, and sometimes make Dino’s that don’t make sense
The amount of articulation in these figures feels like they should be the new standard for Sonic figures. I hope they implement this style in the game based figures, Metal Sonic in particular I feel wouls benefit greatly from this enginering.

Jackks with this and the Simps and Jada with Street Fighter, these 2 companys have done great things this year producing fantastic figures at great prices. And I know there is a very fine line in producing a figure with Too Tight a Joint and Too Loose a joint. I get that if kids get hold of a figure and the joint won't bend they will probably end up bending it anyway and it will break because its not like they are gonna heat up the joint or apply Silicone oil to ease it. So what do they do, they produce a figure with Loose joints, which I hate.
I'm not sure if you knew this but Shadow skates when he is running. I just wanted to let you know that if you were gonna do more photography with them :P

If you like My Hero Academia I recommend the Total Anime Deku. Fantastic figure for under 20 bucks. He comes with 3 pairs of hands, 3 face plates, ofa lightning effects, and great articulation.

Jakks has been putting hasbro to shame lately. First they released the amazing Link, Zelda, and Samus figures with more articulation and paintwork than many marvel legends or black series, and for less than half the price of $10, and now these Sonic movie figures being as good as they are. Jakks has been killing it
Marvel legends are by no means amazing, I also don't collect them anymore. By no means are any of my jakks figures better, just like my Jada street fighter figures have loose joints now for the most part,and people compare them to S.H after lots of posing and messing around my SH have never had this issue I think they have a few things to fix, but are great figures at the end of the day for the price.
@ yeah, Jakks aren’t perfect, and they definitely don’t have the same quality control of say Hasbro(though hasbro isn’t always great with that either) but it’s commendable what they can do for they’re price. When an $80 transformers breaks because they used a thin clear plastic hinge to support the whole figure, it’s a big problem, but when a Jakks figure breaks, it’s like 10 buck for another(assuming it’s not a rare one figure like Mephiles or neo metal)
Kids have a short attention span 😂 thats why they get the merchandise out quick😂 also that's why they are cheaper😂 kids don't have the money to be fleeced😂 unlike like collectors😂😂😂😂

The clear plastic on Sonic spikes are for the 4 pack because they got rid of the waste movement so you pressed their stomach and they light up
