Hi, I'm so sorry that I have only just checked your message. I have prayed for you and will also pass on your prayer request to my group who will pray for you straight away. We are all in a spiritual war and you are under spiritual attack. Yes, it's true, you will never measure up to God. We all can't, but He still loves you unconditionally. You are the "apple of His eye" and He tried to show you how much you mean to Him by being willing to give up His life on the cross for you. If you were the only person left on earth He still would have died just for you. That's how much God loves you. And we won't be able to understand that measure of love because we are not God. God IS love. When you realise that there is nothing you can do to make God love you any less, and that He loves you right now, it's time to fight back the forces of evil that are trying to deceive you on this point. Every good thing comes from God. That means even changes in your life towards being close to Him will be His work in your life. The key to overcoming and fighting spiritual forces is with learning and knowing what the bible says. KJV is a good bible version. In the armour of God, there is only one weapon. The rest of the armour is for defence/protection. The only one that is offence is the sword, which is the Word of God. You will rise up and come back from this! Because Jesus Christ is the author and FINISHER of your faith. He will finish it. Ask Him to keep you in the palm of His hand and not let go, and He will. Remember He is your ADVOCATE (Defense Lawyer) 1 John 2:1, as well as JUDGE. Jesus is right now in the Sanctuary in heaven ministering on your behalf as your Advocate, and He paid the full price for your forgiveness, and you are now set free to be His. We believe that we are saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ's righteous blood which He shed on calvary. We are not saved by our works. "Do we make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law." Rom 3:1 "What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid." Rom 6:1-2
"Think not that I have come to destroy the law..." Matt 5:17. "I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them" Heb 10:16. Paul writes about Wills and Testaments and it is the same today with us. Before the person dies, they can change their Will/Testament as many times as they like, but once the person dies, their Will/Testament cannot be changed at all. It is legally binding. Heb 9:16-17....not one jot(dot) or tittle(crossing of a letter) can be changed...in the Will/Testament of the deceased, because it is legally binding because of their death. "For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled." Matt 5:18. If there were any changes to the covenant, it needs to be made before the death of the Testator. All believers in the bible keep the 7th day Sabbath, Gentiles, Greeks, whole cities. You won't find the change from the 7th day Sabbath in the bible. The compromise of Christians to keep Sunday(pagan Sun god worship) observance, was introduced much later in history and not based on scripture.
