i get Anika wasn't everyone's cup of tea, but this reaction was on the same level as Kellie's exit from 45, Natalia's from 37, and Michaela's from 33. Truly an iconic moment
Normally I can’t stand it when someone takes forever to leave tribal after being voted off because it usually screams fakeness. But this reaction by Anika was so genuine it made for great television
i feel so sorry for what anika but at the same time i love how honest she was with her feelings. i loved her state of shock and anger. her reaction is up there for best exits. what an array of emotion she showed in those few minutes.
@@SamuelCulper-h6sArrogance? She was voted out because Jay was paranoid to take her to merge because she showed some slight strategic play. And it ultimately costed him further into the merge not having any bigger targets than himself. If anyone was arrogant from that season, it was Will and Ken 😂
@@NenStein. Which season? She played twice. Even her mom had to quell her attitude and arrogance during the loved one’s visit. If you’re not gonna do facts, FOX has YT videos.
@SamuelCulper-h6s I mentioned Micheala, Jay, Will, and Ken, so it would be her first season, Millennials Vs Gen X. "Arrogance" wasn't the reason she was voted out. It was because Jay wanted to make a big move on who he perceived as a strong threat going into the merge instead of staying Millennials strong. Don't forget she also walked onto Jay and Will finding an idol, giving Jay more reason to vote her out. And if you don't want to accept those facts, there's plenty of videos on UA-cam that shows what happens leading to her blindside. You can't even say arrogance leads to her demise in her second season, since she was ultimately voted out after Cirie tried to steal Sarah's vote. Sarah lost trust in Cirie at that moment and decided to vote out her #1 ally. Again, plenty of videos on her showing that.
Yeah unfortunately now that this move was done it is clearly evident that “Sam and Sierra are running Gata” if anything this move benefited Andy way more than the two of them
@@kyleroberts1276 Sierra didn't have much choice unless she convinced Andy to blindside Sam, and then she's not in a much better position than now anyways, having to ally with Andy if the girls decide to take her out. She has a good chance of making the merge with Sam, who seems genuine about keeping her as his #1
@@user-vx1up7ty7z technically she and Rachel can make it a tie, then send Andy home 2-1 on the revote, that would not only weaken Sam's power but will also put her in a good position since i believe Rachel and Anika would be more loyal to her than Andy (not sure abt Sam tho)
Yes yes yes, I liked them all! Especially seeing her cry really made me want to cry! 😢 If she sees this I hope it makes her feel better, but I just recognized they've been off of the island so she's probably hopefully forgivin it by now.
All-timer reaction. 10x better than Kellie's "what the hell, guys?" Anika stayed angry and carried the drama through it all. After a few seconds, Kellie gave people hugs.
this was CRAZY!! awesome blindside and reaction even though i felt bad for her. the buildup of the music was awesome too. this premerge was sooo good, i think it’s one of the best and definitely best of the new era
What’s sad is Anika could have survived this vote off. If Sierra joined Rachel in voting off Andy, the vote is 2-2. In the re-vote, only Andy can’t vote. Rachel and Sierra vote him out 2-1 and dethrone Sam as top dog of Gata. Lost opportunity for Sierra to make a big move for herself.
When you get too comfortable in this game, you get blindsided. Anika put herself in a false sense of security in believing the alliance she was in would work, but sadly it became her undoing.
Not to mention she received a vote at the first Tribal Council. Even though she made more connections subsequently, it had to have crossed her mind that her name might still be in circulation.
I like how Gata's two premerge boots were Jon, who was such a good sport and joked about how badly he failed in his final words despite getting the worst placement of the season, and Anika, who, well...
Anika's reaction was up there with Natalia from David Vs. Goliath, completely shocked as f***. Her emotions were so real and raw and as a viewer, I loved it. With that said, she got too confident and it got her good. So excited for the merge.
Wow that was TENSE. This has got to be up there with one of the longest double takes after a vote out. I thought Jeff was going have carry the torch away from her to be snuffed.
I know it is Sam’s and Sierra’s move, but Andy also gave them those idea about Anika, and they ate it. He is dangerous. He is being underestimated, but he’s damn playing this game.
This is gonna sound hella conspiratorial but I really think he faked his meltdown in the first episode. Because his switch in behavior since then was night and day. I think he really wanted people to see him as weak and weird so he’d fly under the radar and pull shit like that.
I don't think Sierra had a choice. I think Sam was more set on voting Anika than the edit let on so Sierra could only make it a 2-2 tie by voting Andy. Didn't have another move if Sam doesn't also flip
However, if the three of them get further in the game, I think Sierra could have a chance of beating them later on. She is only sticking with the boys right now because the duo of Anika and Rachel is more of a social threat when the merge happens. You don’t want to be the third in three people on Survivor. Right now she is technically a duo with Sam because he considers her higher on his totem pole than Andy.
Sierra should have voted Andy, then tell Sam to play his idol on him. That way Anika goes home, Rachel still feels close with Sierra and she can play the middle or pick whichever side she wants going into merge while also giving off the impression that she is detaching from Sam
@@lurkinginshadows1141 as long as rome survives mergatory, i don't really care when he goes. i hope it won't be for a while, but i'll happen if he lasts for one full merge episode

I'm feel bad for Anika, don't tell me Andy, Sierra and Sam gonna be the next Dee, Austi, Julie and Drew. I'll be not entertain again on Survivor. I hope this three will be voting out each other soon. GoodLuck Rachel
I don’t think people should be getting mad at sierra. Sierra genuinely felt bad about betraying her friend. Anika would feel no remorse whatsoever if she was doing that just like how she just flippantly threw sierra and Sam’s name under the bus when she went on the journey saying that they’re “running the tribe” and thus painting them as targets when they get to the merge.
Damn - lost my second pre-season pick. Only have one left. Once again, it’s a big mistake keeping Andy around. It will bite them in the ass now that they’re all playing for the merged tribe next week. My hope is to see Sam and Sierra split up next. Otherwise, get Andy, Rome, Gabe, or Sue out next.
While I don't like the two Indian people to be voted out back to back, there was a certain amount of entitlement from Anika on this one, in my opinion. She was smiling ear to ear when she thought Andy was going, and when he tried to genuinely say bye, she was having none of it.
I knew it was gonna be a dumb vote and Anika would be voted out, but I really hoped Sam would think about the tribe rather than himself for once. But I was happy when Anika said “Nah”, it served them right.
@bigboygains137 Andy was the one who cost them time in challenges more than once. Plus, in voting out Anika, they also blindsided Rachel, who can spill to Andy about Sam's idol and them tell everyone else that Sam and Sierra (mainly Sierra) flipped on her, thus painting them as the power duo that they are.
The merge was evidently coming soon, would’ve made more sense for him to get rid of someone that would likely flip on him than to benefit the tribe at that point
