Focus on your happiness, your projects, what you love to do and let him have his space, let life make him hopefully learn a lesson and come back to you guys more mature and selfless. Sometimes life itself makes things right again. Be patient and at worst be a very good example so that he learns a lesson hopefully. You know, we cant save people from themselves. No matter how much and how hard we try.You have your dad, right? Well, you guys stick together and take care of each other. You guys are a lovely team. I know you feel sad and it makes me sad for you. I wish I could change things for you. You gonna be okay as long as there is love. Try to write your feelings in a journal regularly or a letter to your brother, in where you write what hurts you about him and what you wish you could tell him. Even if you don't send it to him. Just write down your words and it could make you feel better. Honesty can save things. Maybe your brother wants to feel understood. Maybe he just needs to deal with his life or feels hurt or something, or goes through a hard time. Some people become closed because they feel neglected or not worthy of love.Trust me. I too have only my twin sister whom without her I would be totally lost. She's my best friend and my true family. I trust no one else. Without her I would have committed suicide years ago because my whole life my parents have treated me like an idiot, a scapegoat, have been gathering the whole family to make them think less of me, even the neighboors. It's called a pygmalion effect if you know about it. And it worked. They all think less of me, treat me like someone I'm not. So I've been feeling like crap, alone, accused, felt insecure, dealt with body image issues and social anxiety practically since I was a kid. The worst part is that my little brother they made sure to keep him away from me. We were close once and now he is taking their side and became exactly like them, in manerisms, behavior and betrial. So I wish you good luck, and a lot of joy in your life. Take good care of you.
