I love the callback to Slifer vs Thor. "Read the first sentence". You'd think Sam's gotten cooked by the Gods enough to remember what Revived Sky God does.
Sam was obviously nerfing himself in the summoned skull vs god cards video to make it a closer match. He underestimated how hard Seereax could cook with even garbage cards, which meant Sam's intentionally nerfed deck gave summoned skulls an undeserved win. They could tell that going forward, Sam would have to do some crazy cheats with SS or nerf the deck facing SS since it got to top 4 illegitimately, so decided to just kick it.

Honestly, my opinion and comment may be irrelevant and overlooked but I just want to emphasize that this was a wholesome video. Being able to communicate and understand their strategy with the Silent Levels episode against the Summoned Skull episode is refreshing. Sam could've been more creative but that was HIS way of making an engine. One can argue that he could've used something else and although I agree, the platter was Sam's method. I agree with Seerax but I would like to extend my deepest apology to Sam for also blaming and flaming him. His creativity in deck building will grow and hope to see more collaborations! Thank you for the episode ❤

i love this series. I think the next one is going to have to be Master Showdown GX Edition. All the iconic decks from GX series. I would enjoy seeing Seereax try his creativity with Venom lol

I don’t think bragging about a YCS win to a guy you continually lose to helps his case, lol. That makes seereax look even better. Sam knows how to play meta. Janky decks aside, he’s good when it’s known constant in the meta decks to continually practice. He doesn’t do well with on the spot deck building. It’s what makes the videos entertaining because a “professional” yugioh player constantly gets totaled by a casual one. Sam needs to go through a sparking zero arc and cook seereax to get back at him.
Glad SeeReax could take a break from his Month of Mayhem and Sparking Zero content on his main channel to come to one of his side channels and let Sam be in a video.
I would have LOVED to see what Sam's Summoned Skull deck would have looked like, but of course, when it was possibly his go at it, it got wrongfully booted from the tournament.
It's funny how Sam's defense for running tour guide in order to make Dante was to make silent swordsman more consistent and competitive against magnet warriors. he could have just played more warriors and ran multiple battle traps like mirror force, magic cylinder, and shadow spell (a sub for spell binding circle). dude just doesn't know how to cook with older archetypes lol. besides some archetypes are just not built equally. Also, he could have played the magician girl monsters to support silent magician.
Ngl, I've been running a adamancipator/ magnet warrior deck since Master duel came out and I consistently get plat without trying. It's really not bad with a Rock archetype to help it
I'm glad Sam and Deion got to chop it up in the end, I'm glad even Deion kinda cooked the comments. It wasn't an argument on creativity but competitiveness
An awesome and insane yugioh master showdown would be creating every yugioh protagonist decks to their fullest and amazing potential from original yugioh to yugioh vrains with no restrictions. Just to go all out because that would be an awesome showdown

this is something i noticed this morning while playing Master Duel. the person i was dueling ended up summoning Wing Dragon of Ra but thankfully i chopped their life points down to 2100 and finished them off with my Dark Magician. i'll probably see more people play with the God cards now.
The reason why the tour guide was frowned upon sam is one you had ALOT of other options and you used it for more then just your engine where as summoned skull seereax only used to bring out his summoned skull as soon as possible
