I mean, my friend did the math for the Gluttons and it looks crazy good. Somethings are a little disappointing. But man, that Stonehorn is able to block the first instance of Damage every since phase. That's huge.

Looking forwards to the stream tbh. He's pretty savvy about balance and stuff, and based on the little bit we've seen, the mawtribe math looks to make them pretty dominant and killy. I predict he'll be disappointed about the lack of variety in the charge shenanigans, but there's plenty of other stuff to like

@@heiroftheredeemer2828 wdym wuth "istance of Damage"? The Huskard blocks 1 Damage per phase. If they hit you with somthing hard, 1 more damage is nothing, if they don't they don't you take 1 less damage, not impressive.

Dreadblade Harrows will always get their charges. You can teleport them into position on your enemy movement phase. They’ll just be a prime target.

"Play five games and you're as caught up as any player"
Yeah, because thats as many games as the average player gets per edition

    Re: Armies for new players.
I generally agree that a new player can have fun and get to know any army.
The only thing I would add is simply that, if a new player is interested in playing Kharadron, they should be aware that the ships are relatively complicated to build. As long as they are ready for that, then there's no reason that a new player shouldn't choose KO.

the most 'whelming' preview to that point. not bad, but not too much wow factor. faction traits more predictable ar least? i like the look of the harrows? reikenor seems cool? olynder not looking bad, but the new scroll isn't exactly screaming "mortarch" to me.
again not bad, but not super exciting. maybe i just need to see their offensive units. if grimchasts, harridans, revenants, etc hit harder, & in meaningfully different ways, or if they make the coach good and cool for once, I'll come around. in the mean time, though, I'm pinning my hopes on the other three undead faction.
    fec preview tomorrow, fingers crossed.

while I wasn't blown away, there are bits to like. enemy turn teleport on harrows is *really* good, as is the chamge from hero to unit of 2, wven if that was probably motivated by box size, rather than the factions 9vercrowded hero section.
i likeolynders spell - in a faction that leans so heavily into debuffs its nice to have a way to prevent the opponent from countering thrm out with buffs. it'll be particularly fun to 'unleash spell' in response to a stormcast player's 'best day ever' to say 'no it isn't'.
      And yeah, Reikenor looks great.
So yeah, it's not a bad preview. it just didn't wow me like stormcast or cities did.
