Me too. Thanks for having me on with you on your channel! - Josh For those that haven't seen it. Here's that interview. ua-cam.com/video/sgs-Yty9guA/v-deo.html
Minute 7:42 Correction note - Cáceres (Extremadura) instead of Cáceres. I am with you: socializing is part of the Spanish DNA, so expect some moderate drinking in a bar or restaurant with friends and/or family members , where all ages are allowed in, from babies to elderly people, families and hetero and same-sex couples. Transportation-wise, it is wise to get hold of a Spanish driving licence (that can be used anywhere in the EU) and purchase a motorbike which can cost as little as €2000 new or €1200 second-hand.
Howdy , Tyler! From Austin/Temple, TX Awesome interview with great perks on how to truly become an expat! When happiness is not shared, it gets lost. Going out there and being part of our community makes the difference.
Great interview! Excellent probing questions and great responses from Tyler - very well said and described, what it teaches a person about the process....greetings Tyler from a fellow "ex" Texan :)
So glad to have found your channel. 🙆♀️🙂 Do u have any info on where I can find people looking for live-in (rent) to help maintain their garden & possibly mentorship in thus area of learning while you live there. Much needed help on this question, thanks
.. if contracted out for teaching assistant for English program, when the term or school year ends, do you have to fly back to the States or if you re-new the teaching contract, and already in the country, can a person just stay during that 'gap' in school year, and just wait.?
Thanks again for having me on Josh, I really enjoyed our chat!

How much Spanish did you know before teaching English? What was the process? Thx
I understand where his sentiment. I’m from Baltimore and choosing the Costa Brava (Girona) instead of Barcelona.
I enjoyed this, as a Texan that admires rural Spain.
