I disagree on a sequel. I would take a remaster or remake of this, because I'm afraid that this would be ruined by a sequel. Perhaps in a remaster we could finally get the origins of Raptros.
0:35 is my favorite part. It's like even though you're a giant rampaging monster, you are still basically the only hope left to take this alien down. You have to win this.
If you think about it, Cerebulon is one of the biggest non-Platinum Games bosses ever, in terms of actual size. After doing some research involving scaling, I have determined a decent scale of his size. Cerebulon's mech suit, when viewed from above, is about as big as a football stadium. But that's not all. In terms of height, Cerebulon's mech suit is around the size of the HOOVER FREAKING DAM!!!! Maybe even bigger! He makes Malus from Shadow of The Colossus and Hades from Kid Icarus Uprising look tiny! I'd go as far to say he's around the size of God of War's CRONUS!!!!
Most playable characters in the game are near to being 30 meters tall, as confirmed on the back of the game's case. Saying that you play as 100 feet tall monsters. To have a rough estimate on Cerebulon's size in a number, with a unit of measurement, it would be, in his 1st form, to be roughly 60-70 meters in height. (Using the playable monsters to use as the way I am scaling him...) Goliath Prime is around 50 meters high for example. But he is no way almost half the height of the Hoover Dam, and with a simple google search, the dam is a bit more than 220 meters high! But he is still very much gigantic. In his second form, he is relatively the same height as his first form, but he is much smaller in spite of that in terms of width and length, as well as possible mass. In his final form, he is 30 - 40 meters tall, possibly, as I seen from measuring him with some of the other monsters. But the tallest monster by far, is most likely the Venus Flytrap Monster, although definitely not the largest in comparison to Cerebulon's first form.
Keep in mind size for Cronus and other Greek Gods is irrelevant because they can be however large or small they so desire and are not constrained by physical limitations.
I must admit that this game impressed me a lot in my childhood, very good gameplay and excellent story, without details, but very advanced to be just intros and the music is just as epic
i suspect theres gonna be a sequel on the ps5, it'll be the game's 3rd console it'd be on, so it'd make sense to drag the franchise out of hell and possibly get some more people to play it!
I just realized that the image used here might be a reference to godzilla vs king kong, (the old one) wherein king kong is charged up by electricity, thus why it doesn't hurt congar.
Preferably his third form, seems like he’s at a good playable size. If there was ever a remake, I’d imagine it’s required to beat the game with all characters to unlock Cerebulon. His ending cinematic would be called “The attack of… Cerebulon” It shows Cerebulon and his Zorgulon army preparing for the invasion on earth, Cerebulon in his alien language, states that they’ll invade to retrieve resources, specifically organic creatures for experimentation using the same radiation that created the other monsters, making it likely that the UFOs getting EMPed from the sky was an unintentional backup plan.
I feel like the newsreel for this level was inspired by the movie "IT, The Terror from outer space!" Nevertheless, I'd love to see a remake of this game. Please someone make it happen and release it on all consoles/pc.
Such an unknown game. Smooth controls, decent graphics, and an awesome final boss. It surprises me it isn't a huge title
This game needs a sequel its is one of the greatest monster fighting games ever
Giga bash on PC is Similar ✌🏽

This was such a satisfying final boss. It made every play through worth the few hours they took.
This battle was one of the most pivotal moments in my childhood... I loved this game. Thank you for uploading this!
Come back and have a listen :)
@@peytonburnsed2196 Thank you for the reminder!
one of my top 10 favorite boss songs!

“He raised his all of his hands and said,
I am become death… the Destroyer of Worlds.”
The final boss is actually referred to as "Cerebulon, the Destroyer of Worlds."
@@rivertwygzbed543 Yes I know.
0:21 to 0:52 really does capture the theme of a final boss fight against a world destroying colossal alien warlord.
Fantastic boss theme 👏
+Titus Tucker
IKR! Even while blocking he'd take out so much health!
This boss fight was a nightmare for me because I didn't know how to lock on targets lol
Hard boss = Epic Theme, video games reglament
A fight in the Capitol? How very topical.
There was a 30 metre tall radioactive gorilla with a sonic scream? Damn shit just gets crazier and crazier over in the states.
Getting it for my ps3 on Friday
0:38 i get chills it like all of the monsters you play as are teaming up to defeat cerebulon
All Hail Lord Cerebulon
