Ingredients:
2 cups boiling hot water
1 tbsp wood pressed coconut oil, 1 tsp mustard seeds, 1 tsp urad dal, 1 tsp bengal gram, 2 tbsp roasted gram dal, 3-4 tbsp peanuts, handful of shallots, 2 green chilies, 1/2 inch ginger, a fat pinch of hing, 1 grated carrot, 1 tsp pink salt, 1 cup ragi rava, curry leaves.

Excellent , I usually add little cooked rice to the upma or add roasted and cooked moong dal /sprots to get effect of a complete meal .

Soak ragi in the morning . Night you put it in a clean cloth and cover and keep it in a closed dubba . Sprouts will come next day if it’s summer , it takes time in winters . Once the ragi is sprouted dry in shade and put it in mixie or if you have that small stone grinder like chakki you can coat home rawa .

Ragi is not a significant source of Vitamin C. Generally speaking sprouting millets doesn't increase its Vit C content. Infact vitamin C can decrease during sprouting as it gets exposed to light and air. Sprouting may increase digestibility & increase the availability of other nutrients.

Ragi rava is not that much smooth so it's suggested to make it into powder and follow the same steps to make upma. Else it will lead to indigestion
and for that reason, I use sprouted ragi rava and flour. hope this helps.
