Tony & Cody - Knowing your child needs more than school and therapies to thrive but not knowing if you can provide it for him is stressful. When Tony found WDSRA he was unemployed. Scholarships would be the only way he could give his son Cody more.
Sharon, Nylah & Myles - Sharon had plans. But, as often happens, life had other plans. Ten years ago, her already complicated life was about to get even more complicated. Sharon’s adult son was living on his own and her teenage daughter, who was trying to manage her bipolar disorder, was living at home. Sharon was also the primary caregiver to her elderly parents who were struggling with significant health issues. When her daughter became a teenage mother, not once but twice, it was up to Sharon to raise her two young grandchildren, both with disabilities.
