- ...With this new-to-me trail, that is.
Come along as I sample a new trail- rucking 20 pounds barefoot, get surprised by the best tree swing ever, splash my feet in a creek, and finish off with some yoga and a homemade trail burrito.
oh, and I got attacked by a dog! With slobbery kisses lol but whatever.

Thanks for sharing ... luv seeing you barefoot in nature
I’m so happy you enjoyed!
the fall time when the dirt ground is cold and muddy, is my favorite.
That sweet spot before it gets so cold it hurts lol. Definitely 🤌
Grounding is really good for you! Outdoors and I really like yoga. Love when you are barefoot, like your feet!
Yes! I keep myself grounded indoors too, but practicing asana amongst the birds and the trees is a special kind of magic 💫
If you're going without shoes most of the time, your feet will become conditioned to rougher ground and a summer hike on this trail will not be excruciating. People forget the natural order... humans were meant to walk the earth for a lifetime on bare feet and in a lot of places around the world, they still do. Get yourself some barefoot type shoes for when you need to wear shoes, and when you don't need to, go barefoot. You look like you have strong arches, well shaped and flexible feet... very healthy. I don't think you have far to go to condition for barefoot hiking under most any conditions, except snow of course. Just watch out for poison ivy!
I’ve realized these videos have taken off faster than I have even taken the time to introduce myself lol. My feet look so healthy because I have been primarily barefoot since 2010. Doing this healed me from flat feet, ankle pain, and shin splints. I wear minimalist shoes for training sports that require the protection (pickleball and rucking mostly- and reluctantly for strength training because the gym forces me to) and barefoot nearly the rest of the time. I do enjoy conventional shoes and occasionally even high heels for modern fashion, but wearing them to me is like candy or dessert- I know it’s not healthy for me but it’s yummy so I’ll indulge sometimes lol.
That said I think my 3ish miles average barefoot walks on rocky terrain are a decent achievement! There must not be oak trees where you live? I’ll take a 3 mile trek barefoot thru snow before dry oak leaves ANY day, they are needle sharp, they get stuck in the skin and even can draw blood.
@@groundedashLOL, nope... no oak trees in Wyoming, but I used to live in Michigan where there were plenty. I think your videos are taking off because people are starting to figure out that natural is better. Like I mentioned, God's engineering team designed our feet to walk the earth for a lifetime. The health benefits of walking naturally are amazing as you have indicated and as the stigma of walking around barefoot hopefully subsides, people are going to find out that so many pains from our feet to our spine will go away by just getting back to nature. Please keep making these videos to inform people of what they are missing. Best of health to you!
The feeling of water lapping at your toes is the nicest feeling ever ❤❤
Yes 😋
Beautiful scenery and empowering liberating adventure time! Still find the blissful wriggle of your toes on escaping the boots and socks to be so adorable. And it must have felt so lovely to feel so grounded with those beautiful bare soles pressing to the earth and grass, as it should be. 🥰
Couldn’t say it better myself. Thank you! ☺️
@@groundedash Always a pleasure! Watching you sharing those lovely experiences is soothing and calming by association! Next best thing to doing it oneself!
I like your style brother.

What kind of burrito is it?
Egg & cheese 😋
I love barefoot shoes i hiked the entire Appalachian trail Maine to Georgia in a pair of merrell trail glove 5s best thing i ever did was switch to barefoot shoes currently southbounding through Pennsylvania
Oh trail gloves were my go-to’s for years I loved them! Eventually started branching out to Vivobabrefoot but their toe box shape doesn’t work for my feet. Just got these Lems boots this past holiday season and I am completely obsessed with them, they look so rugged but feel like nothing, I have full toe splay and range of motion, totally waterproof and grip even better than bare.
This is so relaxing and peaceful to watch, and I hope you don’t mind me saying, but you’ve got absolutely gorgeous feet. 🥰
I’m so happy you enjoyed!
👍☺️❤️❤️🥰

How are females or some males flexible like can do splits or backflips and i can’t
Of course nobody can really answer that, but I can say we all carry our stress and tension differently, what’s easy for one person can be challenging for another- in all things not just mobility.
In my case, coming to yoga in my early 20’s after a childhood as an athlete, the mobility I have after nearly 20 years of dedicated yoga asana practice has been well earned. Find a trustworthy yoga teacher near you and stick with it!
@@groundedash will do 🥂
I loved the video and it relaxed me. And you also have beautiful feet and soles. ☺️☺️☺️
I love being barefoot
Saaame 👣⚡️🌎
Me encanta verte descalza
Wow the lady is such fairy elf 🧝♂️ princess did you have boyfriend or something? 😂 i like your Asana 🧘♀️yoga
Haha yeah or something. Glad you enjoyed!
It's really good to walk and do yoga barefoot, it brings a lot of benefits for our body and we have a better feeling with the ground and it helps strenghten the muscles and our feet. I have been walking barefoot since may 2021, i walk in the forest, around a lake and in the street where i can. I have also been doing gym at home since march last year and my group on fridays since 2 month and i do it barefoot for both. How long have you been walking and doing yoga barefoot?
Yes!! I started training barefoot in 2010 because I wanted to finish a triathlon but couldn't run due to shin splints. Not only did my shin splints disappear but after a couple years what used to be flat feet became healthy arches.
Now I wear minimalist shoes for things like running, rucking, and pickleball, but still incorporate this total barefoot practice for the electrical grounding (anti inflammatory and nervous system) benefit as well as keep the dense foot musculature strong.
I lead monthly barefoot walk + yoga events also, its such a fun community gathering!
I have a blog on my website that shares in detail about my barefoot/grounding journey. Go check it out!
