I think the camaraderie of this group is my favorite thing, because they are skilled professionals doing a hard and dangerous job but they usually can find the fun and enjoy it
I could never completely watch a tree cutting business video all the way through. But Jake the guys you have helping doing these jobs is awesome. I watch every video all the way through and enjoy them. Also really like the way you explain how your equipment works .
Who doesn't love a bit of Jerk & Slide at the weekend? And where better to get your extra stimulation than the R & J Jerk and Slide Show! 🤣🤣 Tree work is dangerous!?! Who knew? Extremely glad you're all safe and well. Thank you for the laughter! 👍✌
Will NEVER EVER forget the - Randy pull nor the Isaac unhook OR the R&J Jerke and Slide. Absolutely brilliant and hilarious!😂😂😂😂😂 Much ❤to the 3 big boys!❤❤❤❤
The one time I saw something like that rot failure was a large leaning old Apple tree I have taken out a half dozen large Leylandii and a couple of small Ash, I had to drag everything past the Apple. no machines on foot. 5 hours into the day the Apple fell and uprooted. I put it down to vibrations from dropping trees near it it light soil. My suggestion is the Cedar was already weak, add in the vehicle vibrations and the impacts and snagging on the tree finnishe off what the rot had nearly finished. Good to see no serious injuries. Thanks for the day out in the US
Just shows you how potentially dangerous tree work can be. Thank God no one was hurt. That day could have ended for someone terribly. So glad you are all okay. Great video. Thanks.
THE SAW MATE. My guys love them.. We have (5) crews using them on our Wood Chippers and Mini Skids.. NO more complains from customers that we left small oil stains in their driveways from our saws and our Saw damage/repairs have dropped since we started using them.. LOVE the video Jacob,, Scary sh**...
that was so gnarly! glad everyone’s alright and luckily no one got hurt, puts into perspective the constant danger on the work site no matter how experienced you are😮
Nice Work Y'all!!! Good on the ropes & the drops. You made it look easy. Very good work on those big ones. I once logged and did tree timing. That was some 50 years ago. Watching y'all's work brought back many memories. Thank you.
The humor of this crew is the best. At some point during the interview process for your new position, you have to get them to tell you their best joke or something.
Outstanding as usual. Was going to watch 5 minutes, now it's done. You guys crush it. I know there's a lot of moving pieces there, but a drone shot of you topping that would have been epic! ( Well, MORE epic)! Glad everyone is safe.
Well done. Sorry to hear about the man who lost his ring the other week. This is very relaxing. I do quite a bit of my own tree work here at home (UK) but not up high so seeing someone else working relaxes me. We had about 8 trees on the street (not my land) lopped back from the top up ropes and one dying one removed over last 3 weeks so every where I look has been men up trees.
Greetings from the UK. I usually watch your videos on Saturday afternoons with a cup of tea. I just about spat my tea out on the R&J Jerk and slide. Need a warning on your videos. "This video contains Issac's Dry Wit" 😉
glad that went well, rotten sketchy trees certainly makes one appreciate how far mechanisation has come and how much safer its made that kinda work. sure machines are expensive but preventing injuries or worse more than makes up for that. stay safe
Jake, you have a great team! THAT was scary AND hysterical! Isaac and Randy are such a hoot! I'm super glad nobody got hurt. You guys joke around and have fun, but it's good to have something like this happen as a wake up call to remind people of just how dangerous tree work can be. Please be VERY VERY careful out there! I grew up in Hood River (Oregon) and knew a LOT of loggers. Went to high school with a lot of them. Lost a couple of friends to that business. I wish you could put out more video's! I really look forward to them!
You make it look easy. Glad no one was hurt by the branch, something that large hard to believe it hadn't broken before. I imagine the drops, and flex from the cutting weakened it just enough.
the cedar must have smeller great! just love the sent of the grinding the leaves and branches. that was crazy zip lining that large pine! you guys always keep it safe and have so much fun! when you love what you are doing, you never work a day in your life! Randy now has uniform fuzz, the cedar was a very dangerous tree! do you ever do a core to check to see how bad the core of the tree tree is? Randy Isaac & Jake great job cannot wait for the next installment! how is the business doing?
Holy cannoli that tear out was terrifying going right towards Randy's truck and the shed. Thank the lawd you guys weren't tied into it. Isaac had a couple solid jokes in here!
I've been watching you guys for months now, and I have no clue if anyone ever mentioned this before, but there is so much Usnea in those northwest trees. I've seen a lifetime supply coming from that fir in this video alone, and it just goes in the chipper! The only reason I'm even interested is that it's an old native medicine used to make tinctures and such that help fight off viruses and things. The lichen itself takes an extremely long time to grow, so most people collect it from the ground after a fierce windstorm blows them off. I'm really surprised you don't have someone following you around to collect it before you chip it all lol It's the soft light green hairy-looking clumps all over the tree. no criticism here, it's just amazing to me to see so much of it. :)
Randy is my favorite character on the show, Jake you are a close second, Issac, you gotta open up and spread those wings my man, this is a safe place!!
I thought Isaac was hilarious in this episode. Seems like every video he’s clicking with the vibe more and more, while still bringing his own flavor to the mix. Even the professional dynamic just keeps getting better. What a fantastic crew!
Issac is the man! He runs the show. Its just Jake doing the edit. He needs to make himself look good due to his insecurities. Its obvious once you think about it.
Good job I enjoyed it 🎉😅😊be safe everyone I like to have you here for a long time.when you have fun with each others it’s good for us to see.thanks again for a good video.the best to everyone.😊😊😊
Mad respect for being up high on that skinny part of the tree when you top it. Scary as all get out when that cedar failed while you guys were working on it. Glad nobody was hurt. Be safe and get to retirement.
Issac calling out Bjorne Butler tree-that was funny. That guy has a good channel too. Doesn’t have the comedy crew you guys have, but some impressive work.
There is a big difference between doing tree work like what they do. and doing logging of any kind doesn't matter if it's step hill logging, heli logging, or yard logging their is a huge difference between the techniques the knowledge, and training. And i did both types of tree work, so i speak from my own experience here lots of ppl can and will argue that until they are blue in the face but until someone has done it, they really don't know the differences at all just saying.
From the UK we do a lot of hardwoods over here oak, ash,- beach sycamore, elm, Hornbeam older does softwood as well. Cedars macrocarpa larch Leyland Cypress . We do a lot of Pollard in reductions dismantles. Absolutely the majority of the work is done from rope and harness. Absolutely very little mutes. Used over here but good to see you guys looking good.
Love your vids. I will never cut a tree, but still enjoy these, because of you guys. But today Isaac gets the win for quips, the R&J Jerk and sliders hilarious, but I think the best was his “wait, this job I’d dangerous?!?” after the tree failed.
I reminded and watched it atleast 5 times. That's crazy, yeah if you guys under it/attatched/ or bucket underneath, would be a much darker vid. Glad you guys are safe.....crazy!
There's nothing quite like a close call like that one to make you feel alive. Looks like Randy needs a few more Cinnibons to improve the leverage on his Ditch Witch. ✌
This why we don't be complacent because anything can happen at any giving moment in tree work. Always a fear of mine but good work and entertaining video!
Good work guys. That cedar splitting got the hairs on the back of my neck up, holly crap. I've climbed worst condition cedars leaning over houses and fences using ratchet straps to keep the trunk from splitting, but the chances of something like this it's still a possibility.
Pretty cool shot of the chips shooting off the end of the saw. Wow, i've never seen a cedar look so good on the outside and be so rotten in the middle.
In michigan we have white ceader when they get old they tend to rot from inside out yet seam healthy. They tear out just like that in ice storms. Stil think they good if maintained.
No surprise at all when you see the state of that tree and all the weight removed from the other side of that knarly branch that let go. …. You guys are the best so nothing was wrecked and no one was hurt
I think the camaraderie of this group is my favorite thing, because they are skilled professionals doing a hard and dangerous job but they usually can find the fun and enjoy it
That cedar, wow! 😳
Except Issac
Bot
HA. Same thing struck right away. Nothing beats having a good crew, and nothing worse than a bad one.
It's absolutely amazing to watch you fell these huge trees and not damage any things around them
I like the banter you guys have with the joking but being serious when cutting. Glad all of you are safe after seeing that tree split apart!
"You were walking the dog at four thirty?" "Is that code for something else?" LMAO
Tree work can be unpredictable sometimes. Glad nobody was hurt. Love your content! Keep being safe.
Isaac's one liners are hilarious.
Love seeing Isaac come out of his shell! He's hilarious! 🤣
I could never completely watch a tree cutting business video all the way through. But Jake the guys you have helping doing these jobs is awesome. I watch every video all the way through and enjoy them. Also really like the way you explain how your equipment works .
As a logger and land clearing guy I totally respect you guys, loved watching you work.
Who doesn't love a bit of Jerk & Slide at the weekend? And where better to get your extra stimulation than the R & J Jerk and Slide Show! 🤣🤣
Tree work is dangerous!?! Who knew? Extremely glad you're all safe and well. Thank you for the laughter! 👍✌
I've been climbing/cutting for 54 years, good to see you young guys doing it right! I enjoyed the video👍
Fascinating. I loved seeing the process, and being entertained by such a jovial crew.
Will NEVER EVER forget the - Randy pull nor the Isaac unhook OR the R&J Jerke and Slide. Absolutely brilliant and hilarious!😂😂😂😂😂 Much ❤to the 3 big boys!❤❤❤❤

Man, I would so love working with your crew. Professional while still having fun, that just makes the day fly by
you guys made this so funny, it is actually quite scary tho hearing it crack just before giving out. Love the vids!
Just shows you how potentially dangerous tree work can be. Thank God no one was hurt. That day could have ended for someone terribly. So glad you are all okay. Great video. Thanks.
5 stars guys.... so happy you are all safe!

Okay it's me again I really do enjoy watching you thank you.
Glad everyone is safe! Insane seeing that tree fail like that!

Glad all you guys are ok, that tree was a ticking bomb
Outstanding as usual. Was going to watch 5 minutes, now it's done. You guys crush it. I know there's a lot of moving pieces there, but a drone shot of you topping that would have been epic! ( Well, MORE epic)! Glad everyone is safe.
You guys are so much fun to watch and laugh with! ❤
I can't believe how lucky you all were. Everything was just right and someone upstairs planned it to save a life! Whew!
I learned a great lesson on this video. I'm glad no one was tied into that tree! Take care guys.
Glad you three stooges are ok ! It's a good thing you all are professionals !!
The "R&J Jerk and Slide" should be a t-shirt at sappy supplies.
That tear out was crazy

I love that little saw; it sounds like an electric turkey knife.
I'm glad you're okay 👍. Great lesson.

Despite the potential for catastrophe, funny video. You guys work well together. Glad no one was hurt. Always enjoy the channel!
Awesome video Jacob & Randy! Love that battery powered Husky!
Nice job.. That 540 mark 3 really cuts nice.. Thank you for the great videos..
Alpine butterfly FTW! One of my favorite knots.
the cedar must have smeller great! just love the sent of the grinding the leaves and branches.

Walkin' the dawg is what all the kids are doing these days. It is pretty rad.
Holy cannoli that tear out was terrifying going right towards Randy's truck and the shed. Thank the lawd you guys weren't tied into it. Isaac had a couple solid jokes in here!
Isaac is on fire today.
Fantastic upload this one Jake really interesting and as always great craic between you all.
I will never cease to be amazed at how mosey these trees get.
So thankful everyone made it safely to the finish line

Enjoyed the video. Great job guys.
Logging and tree work is the most dangerous jobs in the world . I love my job 😂
Isaac is a profesional dude we need someone serious to counteract Randy silliness lol
Issac is the man! He runs the show. Its just Jake doing the edit. He needs to make himself look good due to his insecurities. Its obvious once you think about it.
Love watching you guys from South Africa
That chipped cedar must smell amazing
14:08 I’m so glad no one was injured that could’ve been very bad ❤️

You are wonderful guys!❤❤😅 i'm from Germany
Wow that was a lucky turn of events 😊 glad everyone is okay 👍
Mad respect for being up high on that skinny part of the tree when you top it. Scary as all get out when that cedar failed while you guys were working on it. Glad nobody was hurt. Be safe and get to retirement.
I've seen every video of guilty of treeson, but this is the 1st video i seen a tree do that. Absolutely just crazy!!!!!
Excellent job buddy. Glad everyone came out ok
Courages I’m in awe, be safe always ⭐️🇺🇸

I'm good here on the ground. I ain't that brave. hats off.
Great vid guys, lovely to watch you and relax. Not very relaxing for you guys ! But for us viewers great.
Loved the boxing kangaroo sticker. That’s a real Aussie symbol.
Enjoy your work but be safe, the cedar limb was really sketchy but thr trunk!!! How was that tree still standing? Great video guys 👍👍👍
Thank God you guys are okay!
Love your vids. I will never cut a tree, but still enjoy these, because of you guys. But today Isaac gets the win for quips, the R&J Jerk and sliders hilarious, but I think the best was his

12:20 is the time marker to see the branch fail. If your like me that's why your here.
There's nothing quite like a close call like that one to make you feel alive. Looks like Randy needs a few more Cinnibons to improve the leverage on his Ditch Witch. ✌
God Issac is hilarious 😂 "I see that all the time"
WOW !! Climbing with a 661. You go
West Coast Boy.
21:18 J&S you guys are hilarious . Great video.
Good job my friend👍

Randy obviously went to church on the weekend, glad everyone is safe 🇺🇲👍🍻
My favourite tree loppers
We need more video's!! I'm to in love with this haha
