OVERLANDING SOLO IN BEAUTIFUL BOTSWANA |S2EP11|

I'm leaving beautiful Goo-Moremi and I drive North again. The next stop is not going to be magical but essential. I'm having a few days in Francistown, the second largest city in Botswana, in a place which is not really a camping. Time for me to sort out a few things on Rafiki, my Toyota Hilux. I enjoy this stopover for two reasons. The first one, I don't want to drive more than 3 hours per day so Francistown was ideal to break a long drive. And the second reason is I need to work on Rafiki. I need to wash the chassis form mud, dirt, salt (from the Okavango salt pans), gravels and else. But also to check the electric setup (extension cable, fridge, and auxiliary battery), and to add a double protection against malaria in the rooftop tent... This will help Rafiki, my Hilux, to be even more ready for what is going to follow!
