Here's a fun fact, if you listen carefully enough, Raw Unfiltered Calamity uses leitmotifs from: Guardian of The Former Seas, Infestation, The Filthy Mind (Will be in part 2 probably), Blood Coagulant, Return To Slime, Antarctic Reinforcement, Left Alone, and Tale of a Cruel World (the title screen theme). This to me is just batshit insane, DM Dokuro in my opinion is probably one of the greatest composers to have ever graced this planet
I have bad memories from the Blood Coagulant. I hopped into a new world, excited to try Calamity. Went exploring, like I love to do. I ran into a Blood Cyst and like the idiot I am, smacked it. I saw its health, and thought to myself, “This should have great loot!” I continued to hit it until I killed the Blood Cyst. I was in for a surprise when I died in record time from a floating meatball that summoned a nasty yellow worm.
I really love how you tackle the list format in this video. There are so many great decisions here! - Names making each tier less vague. - Restraint to not just put everything in S. - Re-listening of the best to determine the very best. - Cutting down to just the bare reactions, as well as the smart commentary. My only gripe is how long the intro is.

For stained brutal calamity you could listen to a version of the song with lyrics or you could read the description and follow the lyrics as you grow. The lyrics are very hard to make out without external help.

Calamity’s soundtrack has that little special extra touch to it that even a lot of AAA soundtracks can lack, and that’s personality. Each one is a perfect match to its biome or boss.
It's a shame that you don't have as many subscribers as views cause the commentaries that you offer us, the audience, are so expressive and profesional that you can tell that he knows about music. Another thing that I absolutely love is the passion he puts into his videos, you can tell it is there whenever you see him vibin to the music. For most of the brimstone themes, there is a motif that runs through all of them. Youll soon find that Brutal Stained Calamity is a much more emotional Raw Unfiltered Calamity. Also, once you get to Unholy Insurgency, imagine a WWE entrance.

@@_CJS i guess the only thing lacking imo is the audio being a bit off such as your voice sounding a little lower than the gameplay and the musics used, terraria has a great sountrack but i think there is better background musics out there that could fit better in minecraft, so increasing your music diversity would be great Edit: i guess you fixed the voice being off problem in later on in the videos
I love the video but I wish some sort of context was given to each of the pieces of music. Each serve a different purpose, earlier boss music is way calmer and ramps up as the game progresses. Biome soundtracks are usually more one note since they are used to set a scene, and (like with the acid rain event) these biome themes are built on for bosses/events set in the specific biome. A lot of thought was put into each piece and how they relate to the specific scenario they are used in, and (for me at least) knowing the context of the scenario relating to the song improves the song a lot.

Reacting to Devourer of gods (nonstop mix) would be MUCH better than seperaiting it to the different tracks (Scourge of the Universe, Servants of the Scourge,Universal Collapse) and it's much more emotional. It's a straight up symphony, Servants is like a buildup for Scorge of the Universe, and Scorge of the Universe is like a buildup for Universal Collapse. Guitar section is my favorite🤌

there are so many addons for calamity with their own amazing music. vinnilla calamity music, nameless diety. honestly if the music people for terraria modding are insane

I love how he constantly says "they" or compliments the "guitar guy" but most of these songs were made by one guy. DM DOKURO is legendary. You can notice which songs are made by him and which ones aren't by the text used in the videos. Not to say the others aren't good. I've personally never really liked the Acid Rains tuff, but that's just me.
You should listen to catastrophic fabrications (different from inferior fabrications) Its missing from the initial list. One of my faves Love the vids man keep it up ❤
I would HIGHLY recommend listening to the Wrath of the Gods themes alongside the resto of them, because the are AMAZING. (Specifically for Noxus and the Nameless Deity of Light and also the best for last being Twisted Garden by Ennway and Hearts Plus Up!)

If you're looking for more Terraria modded music after you finish the calamity ost, l'd like to recommend the Ancients Awakened (particularly CDMusic's, who I noticed happens to be in the comments) and Ancients Awakened Otherworld (the same mod, but without CD's involvement I think) Regardless of where you go, I loved watching your reaction&ranking, and a looking forward to part 2!

You somehow manage to listen to the WHOLE theme instead of going halfway or something, talk about it without pausing for 7 minutes, make this a 25 minute video and just make an overall good video
PLEASE LISTEN TO ROAR OF THE JUNGLE DRAGON it's the music that plays after you beat the boss with the music infernal catharsis, he desintegrates then respawns with maximum hp and more powerful, it's the second most popular song in calamity , also INFESTATION has some secrets, that's why it sounds so weird, im pretty sure inferior fabrications is a placeholder, i think catastrophic fabrications is the theme of the exo mechs, i might be wrong, and the musics really work well for the bosses, for example blood coagulant works well with the perforators, you can hear the blood boiling and the music is very messy because it represents the boss, hadopelagic pressure is the music of the pitch black abyss, it's made to be quiet and mysterious, that's why some of them don't really sound very good, it's to fit the bosses, the bells are a big thing in calamity, they're called the bells of calamity and it's really important and is in a lot of musics in calamity the more and more you progress up to the final current boss ( supreme calamitas ), you should also react to the 2 musics of calamity: wrath of the Gods, it's a very popular addon because of the quality it has and the 2 bosses it gives, listen to the themes of "The entropic God Noxus" and the theme of "Nameless Deity (the true final boss of this addon that is a God of calamity)"

The works of DM dokuro are brilliant. He made most if not all of the boss related music of the mod. The ammount of bell usage is crazy.

Reacting to Devourer of gods (nonstop mix) would be MUCH better than seperaiting it to the different tracks (Scourge of the Universe, Servants of the Scourge,Universal Collapse) and it's much more emotional. It's a straight up symphony, Servants is like a buildup for Scorge of the Universe, and Scorge of the Universe is like a buildup for Universal Collapse. Guitar section is my favorite🤌
yeah that does sound like a good idea, only problem though, the list has all 3 of the tracks and would feel weird to just rank them individually. not sure though so I’m definitely considering it!
there are so many addons for calamity with their own amazing music. vinnilla calamity music, nameless diety. honestly if the music people for terraria modding are insane

most of the track excluding acid rain, inferior fabrications and boss rush are made by dm dokoru alone with some collabs on some song
yeah I will mention this in part 2 as DM DOKURO in particular has done an incredible job!
I love how he constantly says "they" or compliments the "guitar guy" but most of these songs were made by one guy. DM DOKURO is legendary.
You can notice which songs are made by him and which ones aren't by the text used in the videos. Not to say the others aren't good. I've personally never really liked the Acid Rains tuff, but that's just me.

I would HIGHLY recommend listening to the Wrath of the Gods themes alongside the resto of them, because the are AMAZING. (Specifically for Noxus and the Nameless Deity of Light and also the best for last being Twisted Garden by Ennway and Hearts Plus Up!)

I friggin love Terraria music, specifically Calamity. If you're looking for more Terraria modded music after you finish the calamity ost, l'd like to recommend the Ancients Awakened (particularly CDMusic's, who I noticed happens to be in the comments) and Ancients Awakened Otherworld (the same mod, but without CD's involvement I think)
Regardless of where you go, I loved watching your reaction&ranking, and a looking forward to part 2!

@@_CJSyes, most of the soundtrack for Calamity is written by DM Dokuro, until he eventually quit because of high criticism, and now other people are doing soundtracks(and they are doing pretty good job) , for example boss rush and inferior fabrications are not written by him
You somehow manage to listen to the WHOLE theme instead of going halfway or something, talk about it without pausing for 7 minutes, make this a 25 minute video and just make an overall good video

PLEASE LISTEN TO ROAR OF THE JUNGLE DRAGON it's the music that plays after you beat the boss with the music infernal catharsis, he desintegrates then respawns with maximum hp and more powerful, it's the second most popular song in calamity , also INFESTATION has some secrets, that's why it sounds so weird, im pretty sure inferior fabrications is a placeholder, i think catastrophic fabrications is the theme of the exo mechs, i might be wrong, and the musics really work well for the bosses, for example blood coagulant works well with the perforators, you can hear the blood boiling and the music is very messy because it represents the boss, hadopelagic pressure is the music of the pitch black abyss, it's made to be quiet and mysterious, that's why some of them don't really sound very good, it's to fit the bosses, the bells are a big thing in calamity, they're called the bells of calamity and it's really important and is in a lot of musics in calamity the more and more you progress up to the final current boss ( supreme calamitas ), you should also react to the 2 musics of calamity: wrath of the Gods, it's a very popular addon because of the quality it has and the 2 bosses it gives, listen to the themes of "The entropic God Noxus" and the theme of "Nameless Deity (the true final boss of this addon that is a God of calamity)"
