- A stroke occurs when the flow of blood to the brain is blocked. It is a medical emergency, because blood carries oxygen, and brain cells begin to die within a few minutes without it.
World Stroke Day is an opportunity to raise awareness of the serious nature and high rates of stroke and talk about ways in which we can reduce the burden of stroke through better public awareness of the risk factors and signs of stroke. It is also an opportunity to advocate for action by decision makers at global, regional and national levels that are essential to improve stroke prevention, access to acute treatment and support for survivors and caregivers.

Dr few days before i was extreme stress and was crying a lot and very next days, i was experiencing shivering in left side of body, hand, leg, abdomen and even a little face twitching too entire left side and it happens few times a day, during sleep and after when i woke up, is it serious? ka yeh laqwa yan stroke ki toh alamat nahi? please tell me?
