I am in awe in your wonderful patience with your very cute and silly daughter. Would love to gain that kind of patience and love towards my kids. I was also glad you did not "shush" her.
    Love your planner!

I loved the video... It's the first time I find a HS language teacher on YT. I'm a HS language teacher as well (Spanish). It's awesome to see your lesson plan ideas. Thanks for sharing

My English class last year included a Shakespeare comedy unit and my teacher asked us what our favorite comedy movies or shows and my class ended up understanding comedy way better after we analyzed the shows and movies(such as the office, Brooklyn 99, etc.)! I would recommend the Brooklyn 99 episode jake makes suspects sing! Hope everyone enjoys the unit

I love how real this video is. I love how you go outside the box of the bullet journaling trends and give us spread ideas that we can actually use and benefit from when teacher planning. Like stations/rotations, I would put as part of my lesson plans, but giving them their own spread is such a good idea.

This may sound a little odd but I am so glad you didn't try to "shush" your baby or send her out of the room because she was making "noise" during your video. She is so darn precious and it's just so sweet to see that she wants to copy what momma is doing. Thanks for being a great role model for other UA-camr's to see that it's ok to have your children in the same room or even participating in your filming. Besides, isn't the profession of teaching all about modeling and being patient? Well done :) btw your bullet journal idea is fantastic!!

I am about a year off from my bachelors in secondary ed English and I am constantly stressed about lesson planning and the actual teaching part of being a teacher. Lol
I am so paranoid, and I hate that cause I know that being a teacher is what I want.
I’m hoping that once I’m eventually in my own classroom, that I’ll feel a little bit better.
I am so glad I found your channel! :)

Wow, Thank you! I am homeschooling, I have had such a crazy time doing it not because of CORONA but because we pulled her out since Mid November last year and now I want to really get her in the grove and to really learn to LOVE learning.

Thanks for sharing. Bullet journaling intimidates me. I'm too messy-it won't look nice and it will just frustrate me. I love your journal though. It's great how you can customize it to fit your needs so well. 🤗👍🏾

It's so funny you say that - ever since I recorded this video I haven't written in my bullet journal without my kids around, which translates to LOTS of climbing on me... I've only used pencil since the things I wrote in the video... haha!

I love this! I tried bullet journaling for personal stuff this summer to see if I could use it as a classroom journal, but I didn't follow through! That's always my issue, haha, I stop before I get thr hang of it! Looks great, keep us updated as to how it works out!

Since you are looking at humour with Taming of the Shrew and then launching into world fairy tales, you should look into Blackfoot creation stories. Napi does some very interesting things which leads to the lesson of the stories. It could flow really nicely. Also, your daughter is amazing. I love how you are working with her while getting things done. It is super sweet to experience.

I recently started watching your videos and I love them so much. They are very helpful!
Also, I can’t help but notice that you look a lot like Sasha Alexander from Rizzoli and Isles and NCIS!

Just found your channel today and LOVE it! I am sure you already know this but the 90s teen movie 10 Things I Hate About You is a modern adaptation of Taming if the Shrew. Thought if you didn’t know it might spark some fun ideas for you. Thanks for all the great videos. I have been binge watching😁

I'm really liking this, too... I tried the whole digital planner thing for a few years, and I found myself writing SO MANY POST-IT NOTES! Then I would lose half of them, forget what I needed to do, etc... it was a mess! Keeping it all in one place seems to be working for now!

This was such an awesome video to watch! It's so interesting to see how you use a bullet journal to suit your teaching needs. I'm a high school student and aspiring teacher and I've been recently watching a bunch of your videos. I also bullet journal as well, so if you have any questions about it you can ask me on Instagram @ lilystudies_ and I'll try my best to answer them. :) Great video!
