For calculating number of possible trees. You need to find reduced incidence matrix and multiply with its transpose. Find the determinant of resulting matrix. This method is valid for any graph(complete or incomplete)
Sir ,usually in kcl,we'll take entering current as +ve and leaving current as -ve ,but here ,while writing incidence matrix you are taking reverse .why?? Is it be okay?,if I take as mentioned above (i.e entering as +ve & leaving as -ve in matrix??
If direction not given, you can assign anything. Normally it is direction of flow of current and if the assignment is opposite current will be negative. Also if direction is not mentioned then it is an undirected graph.

For complete graph you can use direct formula as n^(n-2). Where n is number of nodes.

It is just a convention. Follow same for all the branches.
