I found out about Sean not to long ago and that's probably because of his passing and the YT algorithm suddenly suggesting him to me. But in that short time, before I learned he had left us, I grew quite attached to him. And now all I have is what he left us with. I'll cherish each and every single video of him because they are priceless and unique. RIP Mr Lock!

Having watched some of his appearances knowing that at the time he was dealing with a terminal diagnosis he just had a REALLY dark sense of humour. He made some really funny jokes about his own death that are bittersweet when you realise at the time he was very aware of how close that day was.
That's actually a good advice for the general case: don't stress about it. Stress amplifies the negative stuff, a sense of control over a situation amplifies the good stuff. Just... don't stress about it.
I miss this man, he was one of the few that could make the brooding, dark, sorry teenage me laugh.

I just realized- Sean is a genius like they come sometimes in comedy. They have a trend amongst the best ones in UK.

I'd been saying it for years ever since I saw him on 8oo10cdc. I watch a lot of comedy/comedians, and Sean was in a league of his own. Forever unpredictable, he could be talking about politics or a sponge and either way you'd be laughing not only at the jokes, but at the insight and wisdom that he seemed to glean from the unlikeliest of places. Thing is, because he'd transition between character and reality with no warning or indication, and because he was humble and played his cards close to his chest, you wouldn't realise just how good a comedian he was unless you were analysing the performance at least a little.
When he said “they don’t do weight lifting it’s too risky” I felt that😂😂
I would love to see a PET scan of Sean Lock's brain. It must be a marvel of science, the random things he thinks about.

2.38 this also applies to UA-cam, people don't like a video they click dislike, not stop watching, they HAVE to make it known that for whatever reason they don't like the video, they can't just close the window they MUST dislike, I've been told it's a form of feedback, comments will suffice, UA-cam should make you give a reason for disliking the video because otherwise what's the point, JUST DON'T WATCH IT!

There are plenty of reasons to dislike something: misinformation, deceit and spam etc (as there isn't much of that, I hardly use the dislike button!)

What about a video that shows you how to edit a UA-cam video, only it is 8 years old, so the editing software has changed and the video serves no purpose?
By disliking it, people who are looking for informative videos can tell by the dislike ratio that something is wrong and not spend time on the video, and look for another one.
