And then as you mentioned: The reality in PRICE 😮 You can buy TWO of them for ONE of the same spec like for like competition (Ford, Toy; etc) models. So we understand that people are "brand crazy" in SA... In India we usually compare Mahindra XUV 700 to Fortuner, which even though is almost half the price of Fortuner, but absolutely crushes Fortuner in every arena, be it looks, interiors, safety, infotainment, driving assistance, mileage, engine power, driving quality. Fortuner can't keep up in any of those. But anyways Scorpio N seems to be making its place in the hearts of SA❤
AWESOME review - as always 👏👍👌✨
Now today you did a ALL ROUND brilliant car !
These things are tough, rough..and dare I say, a STRONG argument it might be more capable than its competitors you mentioned - literally !
Just have a look at the promotional launch event videos !
These things, even with the heavily road biased tyres, are shockingly AMAZING off road !
Imagine what this will do on a set of real off road tyres 😳😎👍👌
Absolutely brilliant in all aspects: Design (looks great); Refined and solid build quality, and luxurious inside all round - BETTER literally than the competition 😮; Tech; Safety; PERFORMANCE; Off and on road handling and capability; PERFORMANCE... and I can keep going..
And then as you mentioned: The reality in PRICE 😮
You can buy TWO of them for ONE of the same spec like for like competition (Ford, Toy; etc) models.
So we understand that people are "brand crazy" in SA... BUT I dont know ANYONE except Elon Musk who is willing to walk into a Toyota dealership and buy a Toyota badge for R500,000, put the badge in your shirt pocket and walk out... 😮
Because THAT is exactly the case here.. 😱😳😵
HOLY COW !!!
Buy TWO of these with brilliant back up and with MUCH BETTER warranties 2 ! , in stead of ONE similar car with a "badge" you like .... 🤣
No chioce to make here really 👍😎
Well done !
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Love from India.. I like when you say 'N' after scorpio..
I am planning to buy one.. Because I can't do rough use of fortuner or innova hycross but with this I can go to any type of road surface
Mahindra is an Indian Company 😎. Proud to be an Indian 😍
Never seen an American, European, Japanese or heck even Chinese comment such BS on UA-cam. These people gonna bring hate towards India and Indians for sure😅
@@PeakyBlinder92 It's not our problem. We love patriotism, and we love to flaunt, if someone isn't doing it that doesn't mean we shouldn't. And we should flaunt it more because the countries you have mentioned used to look down upon on us. Now our product, tech etc. are outshining them, we have every right to feel proud and flaunt it everywhere.

@@PeakyBlinder92 Bro, you know
India got it's Independence only 75 years ago and the Industrial Revolution was also very slow, despite these things, Indian manufacturers are creating such cars, it is appreciable
You can't compare Indian manufacturers to American and European manufacturers, that is foolishness
Yeah, I accept that Japan did much better than us but you can't find many Japanese on UA-cam because Japan doesn't have that much UA-cam users, but yes, you can still see many Japanese commenting the same and appreciating their country
And you know, Google is banned in China
Mahindra replaced toyota spot in indian market and desires to do the same in Foreign markets but it’s impossible but I am optimistic because it focuses more on Left hand markets only
गहन शोध , स्पष्ट अवलोकन , प्रज्ञावान विश्लेषण और बहुत सुन्दर छायांकन।

ScorpioN is deadly beast on the roads 👍🏻
I am a proud owner of Mahindra Scorpio N Z 6. Great to see Mahindra shining in global market🎉🎉
Not gonna lie, Mahindra produces smooth, reliable, powerful and best value for money products 🔥
Mahindra make lot of impressive vehicles, very underrated brand.
You are rendering us open-minded man. Thanks Ciro.
First time in my life hearing of a 2.2 L turbo petrol diesel motor 😆
Makes the two of us
@@itumelengmahaole5890 😆
It’s 2.2 litre diesel and 2 litre petrol.
@@maxwellcyrus5828, now you are messing it up even more. You say both the petrol and diesel have the exact same kw and Nm's?
@@maxwellcyrus5828 Nope. Only diesel engine available.
a good balanced review. mahindra is doing a great job taking the fight to these over priced Toyotas. mahindra vehicles have been our mainstay in India for many years. you can trust them.
Fantastic review, waiting for your review on XUV700
Ah, good old Malanshoogte Road. One of my favourite stretches as a teen with a 125cc...
The best point is, your whole family will be very very safe in this car.
Really appreciate providing quite good cars at this price , love mahindra
Looks good inside. 👍
Not sure if already mentioned but the Scorpio reflects its fuel consumption in km/l. So the noted 11.3 something isn’t too bad, but in JHB traffic daily I get better than 12km/l or 8 l/100km. I have seen 6.8l/100km on a longer trip at about 115km/h
This mahindra scorpio N is so good for me ,roaming around the city and using going to office its pretty great car love from northeast nagaland india
Mahindra is not doing an experiment with this...
The scorpio is a legend SUV in Indian markets 😂😂
Mahindra Scorpio N is Best car over All In Terms Of Safety , Performance And Many More Excellent Product From Mahindra 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥🤗🤗🤟
Your music and editing is spot on…..
i hope someday they relaunch their g4 alturas
It is not cheep it is aforable ❤
Proud to see an Indian car impressing other country citizens and compiting gaints❤
It would have been great if this had a proper blind spot detection system, I mean an indicator on either mirrors. It would also have been great if this car had an adaptive cruise control and came with a five seater with a proper powered tailgate
I guess you just dismantle the rear seat to get a five seater.
I don't think many would complain considering the kit already on offer for the price.
Glad to see ...our home grown company is now becoming global
Great review . Launching this month here in Australia. But I am now thinking this is going to fail. Because here in Australia an SUV is often used to carry things from Hardware shop and shopping like IKEA where you need a flat bay.I also take my mountain bikes in my Xtrail which folds perfectly flat and given this seating arrangement, its over !
sht quality indian car no one gonna buy that tht
🤔 good reason.
To me this vehicle is indeed awesome value and really it doesn’t have many drawbacks. To solve the whole parcel shelf thing, they could tint the last two rear windows(factory privacy glass) and the boot window and just throw in a camera as you get in the Range Rover to see behind without the privacy glass getting in the way 🔌🫡
Awesome reviews all the time 🤫🫡🤓
In India Scorpio N has waiting period of more than 1.5year everyone wants to own one😎
1.5 years is a long period of waiting. It means this car is build in a strict supervision in quality to insure a good quality car. Not as many other car by means of mass produce. Im very amaze with the mahindra quality. From the Phils
@@edgarfazonela8505 The main issue with Mahindra is waiting period. They are providing excellent value for the price but it is waiting what is forcing people to look for other options. There are not enough manufacturing plants it seems
we need a Raptor review, Wildtrack and Aventura head to head......also, do the Hyundai Palisade Ciro..
Mahindra is making SUVs in Indian market since ages. To all buyers in SA, go for it, its over of the best SUV making brand, rugged n comfortable at the same time. Loved the content by the way. Hitting like button
Scorpio N fuel consumption is indicated as km/lt, not lt/100km.
Absolutely great report ....think I'll have to look into this vehicle
Scorpio is 5star rated❤
Love from India 🇮🇳
gonna be real hard not calling this a ScorpioN lol that 3rd row seat situation is a tough one. but there are many such vehicles where it cannot be removed just so.
It is 4 bolts to remove to get the seat out, had the dealer unscrew the bolts and removed the 3rd row seat.
There is also another competitor called" tata harrier(also based on land rover place from)" same price as scorpion n but one problem 😅 it's doesn't export in foreign.
@@pratikshinde7979 nako na hagu ithy
Just explode cooking gas under seat and remove seat permanently 😂😂
@Pratik Shinde Based on land rover?? LMAO
You gave the best reviews. Only watch yours. Thanks.
Waiting for Xuv 700 review !!
My first ever SUV......(2005) version.
Had to sell it😞....
Hoping to buy the Scorpio N....
The fine tuned true SUV dna of India 🇮🇳
and it scored 5 stars in GNCAP
Its annoying seeing some Indians do 'over marketing' in comment boxes, I've never seen a German, Brit, Chinese or an American promoting cars from their countries this way. Let Mahindra do marketing, if their vehicles are good people will buy them, you guys please be quite.
It's not Indians doing the marketing, it's mahindras paid boys doing shitty comments. They have hired a PR team of YT commentators who have different accounts. Scorpio N is big flop and people in India have disliked the design. They are disgusted with mahindra quality. The waiting period is only because of chip shortage 😂.
Again spotted you here
Seems like you are a hired Guy here… Bro chill and Mahindra doesn’t need Export sales for its sustainability ..its just about global presence
It sells more SUVs in an year as compared to total sales of SUVs in South Africa
Please review the BAIC Beijing X55
he meant TurboDiesel not PetrolDiesel (aprox 5:50). Love your tests & presenting Ciro ! Brilliant value for money Mahindra !
Is it better than a duster 1.5 on the gravel Cirro? It's a great car this
Oviusly bro it's way better
Easily
Why didn't you show the space and accessibility of the rear seats? Seven seater but only showed five ?
Would hire this for a road trip.
Yes. Don't get chinese cars
❤❤❤this car has become the favourite ride of most people❤🎉🎉
A great review Ciro 👏 🎉
It keeps on just getting better and better
Lovely car and lovely review ...
In Australia the Mahindra Scorpio is much cheaper than the Japanese 4X4 people movers and the rear wheel drive people movers but so much better if l was in the market for a people mover 4X4 l would buy the Mahindra Scorpio N because of there reputation for reliability and there price is highly competitive against its rivals and the exterior and interior are very nice
I agree. In today's time where everyone feels it in the pocket we have to be sensible. Yes it would be nice to own a fortuner but my pocket dictates go cheaper. Personally I believe Toyota has become faaaarrrr too expensive for the average Joe. Even if they plan on revising their prices over time it will take at least 20 years. As for them forcing an auto RAV down on me..nooooo...
Toyota you lost a customer. No auto for me. Nice review though.
The car is amazing . I love the interior mostly. The seats are soo comfortable
Funny, the Fortuner is basically irrelevant here in Oz. Interesting that this is different in SA. But the Scorpio could be a winner, given its pricing.
This is a beautiful beast. I wouldn't mind buying it❤❤
Feeling so proud to watch ScorpioN review from India 🇮🇳❤❤❤

Crazy Mahindra people are not getting this car in India you are so lucky enjoying this car
it's not a cheap car, but an affordable one with everything one needs out of a good car.
You will realize Its a huge car when you will see it in personal
It's a mid sized SUV
Good price and less chance of being hijacked
If I lived in South Africa and I could not leave then I’d drive an old car, keep it in good condition and have gun under my seat. Plus I’d train how to use the gun.
Kudos to Mahindra for making. 2 Decades back a cousin of mine worked as a consultant for them for one of their car interiors. They were so new to car making they didn't know a shit about interior MOC and NVH. They were good at manufacturing engines and gear box though even back than. But look at them now. The owner of the firm is himself a car enthusiast and not a arm chair investor type entrepreneur.
Your fuel consumption figures are much higher than what Mahindra claims. They are talking about 6,9 L per 100km.
I’m getting 10L/100km on a brand new vehicle. Once worn in the claims are definitely achievable - Indian users are getting up to 19km/L (but they drive much slower than us).
@@jeromeza689 nah who told you that we have 2 mahindras in our house one xuv 700 and a scorpio n the scorpio gets 7.8L💀
Actually this car can't compete with toyota fortuner, evrest etc as it is placed below in the segment as compared to them. Mahindra is doing great ❤
Note this is only supposed to be used with 10PPM which isn't available everywhere in SA. They jiffy'd the SA manual to say 50PPM, check the Indian manual for the identical vehicle.
Yep I commented as much on the 4x4 forums.
