Without a doubt Eric Roberts is THE BEST guest your show has ever featured! The man is a brilliant, highly versatile actor and over the years has created so many Oscar-worthy performances.
How gracious of Eric Roberts to come on Creature Features. Just a great actor and what a kind man. I am happy when I get to see him in anything. Good movie, hadn't seen this one, it goes way back. Thank you to all of you at Creature Features. Wow the original Ghoul Movie. Great weekend again spending it all with you Friday and Saturday. Thank you soo much Mr. Roberts for coming on you are aging beautifully still so handsome.
I remember the day I saw him for the first time ..in "runaway train" konchalovsky's movie , acting so well , facing the great actor John Voight ... what a beautiful performance from his part ! In this thriller movie , facing also the young and so charming rebecca de Mornay This thriller is a real masterpiece ❤ Greetings from france to mister Eric Roberts ❤
I love Eric Roberts! He's an amazing actor, always elevates any production he's in. I never saw The Ghoul, Boris Karloff is great, so much more than Frankenstein's monster. I wish I'd been here for this live.
They don't make pictures like this anymore, boris Karloff was one of my favorite actors still is. To me he defines horror, he didn't start like that but he liked the roles he got and did them justice. I once met him when I lived in England and he was a neighbor. Him and his wife lived on the next estate next to where we were living and we remained friends till he passed, in real life he was a very amazing man and felt honored he wanted to be friends, I will always remember those days and never forget him
Eric Roberts is awesome for doing this. This is definitely below his level of professionalism and I think it is absolutely outstanding that he graced us with his presence.
I loved seeing Eric Roberts on your show. Also, love Creature Features it reminds me of my childhood growing up watching spooky movies. Thanks for still having this on UA-cam. These films are classics.
Very much enjoyed hearing Eric R. talk about filming music videos; didn't know he participated in them…. I’ll get out and catch Sophie M.’s production that Eric worked on. Thank you!!!!
Eric Roberts is universal when it comes to adapting the character he is playing, he is a true person and has a lovely wife and children and i wish him and his family love and peace.
This is one movie night I missed, I dont often comment but I like to have movie night at my house when this is live, the rest of the time I binge watch this show. This particular movie has some very strong actor heavyweights in it a very good cast that compliments each other before the camera
The old horror movies r the best to watch I love all the horror movies from the 20s-30s -40-_50s- 60s- all the old Dracula movies with bela Lugosi I have every one of these movies on dvd I collect them all the old horror movies from these times
The first movie I saw Eric in, I think he was a fencing teacher. The next 2 were marshal arts. Now I see him officers in scifi movies. Thanks for having him on as a guest. Hi to you guys and gal.
I think the first movie I ever saw him in was The Coka Cola Kid. Been following his movies ever since. He is one of the few actors who, if I see him on screen, I'll stop what I'm doing and watch the movie. :)
The band that's singing the Creature Feature intro sounds like "Long Gone Bon." They were an A/C-D/C tribute band out here in the (South) Bay Area of California.
@@CreatureFeatures3 Thanks for the reply. "Long Gone Bon" was around back in the 90's, so the band is probably defunct by now. But, the guy doing the vocals for Creature Features sure sounds like Tut, the vocalist for Long Gone Bon.
@@CreatureFeatures3Vincent love ya u remind me Ozzy and Dani filth from cradle of filth ⚡⚡⚡🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🎤🎤 much love and respect from Pasadena CA ps are guys coming e monsterplooza???
Sorry Eric Roberts, but despite the vast amount of movies you have been in, and there are hundreds, I will always think of you as the voice of the cat, Duffy, from It's a Talking Cat!?!
Boy do I wish I had the whole collection still, I have just a few in my horror, sci-fi, fantasy, and superhero card collection!!!Gary Bailey KingofDarkness Mr. Eric Roberts is one of the kindest of people i Have ever seen, And anyone who loves animals ❤️ Like Tangella and myself is tops in my book!!! Gary Bailey KingofDarkness
Omg Eric was on here damn going way back in the archives since i only found the channel 2 years ago and been in love ever since. Wonder why Julia and him dont talk about each other more or there sister Lisa whos done alot of movies togetherwith Julia and other great sucesses on her own ? Which alot of his sucess came along before and surges here and there before hers did but this is amazing.
So cool to see Eric Roberts on this show. I may be the only person who didn't know that his sister is Julia Roberts. Duh! He was a great guest but considering he currently has 689 acting credits on imdb I'm guessing he won't have time to return but we'll see. I wonder if (or when) he'll hit 1,000 acting credits on imdb.
I have not seen this movie but once and it was years ago on TCM Cult Classics, I don't even know if they still have that segment, I do know the movies over the last few years were bleeech!!! Gary Bailey KingofDarkness Anyways I have wanted to see this movie for a long time, I absolutely love Eric Roberts. Loved his portrayal of the master in America's Dr. who movie which being a life long Doctor fan I PERSONALLY THOUGHT IT WAS A WONDERFUL MOVIE, PLUS HIS PORTRAYALS OF PRIESTS IN SEVERAL HORROR MOVIES, ALSO LOVED HIM IN THOSE!!! GBKOD Oh that is right I totally forgot he was in the new Batman movie, Fantastic job!!! GBKOD
They need to invite Eric Roberts back on the show and feature the film 'Megaboa.' Eric Roberts starred in that monster film in 2021 and it's a cool film which was made by a small, independent film company, so they should have no trouble leasing it for airing on Creature Features.
That's because it IS the same music. A lot of the movie Excalibur's score was public domain music, freely adapted and taken from Richard Wagner's The Ring (opera), Parisfal, and Tristan Und Isolde. The march for the cavalry rides of the Knights is "O Fortuna" from the cantata, Carmine Burana. What I'm hearing in The Ghoul is "The Death of Siegfried" from The Ring. It's basically the theme of King Arthur and the sword Excalibur in the 1981 Excalibur movie.
Worked on one movie Eric was in called Lux In Tenebris. Short scene as a police officer. Miss my one chance to be murdered when they filmed the remake if My Bloody Valentine around Pittsburgh, PA. That was a sad day if a missed casting call. 😁
Eric Roberts, such a nice man! His squirrel story was so charming! Hmmm, since he has his own movie camera he could film the hordes of squirrels approaching and call it, PAWS. I just noticed that the remote on your table is shaped like a teeny tiny coffin. Does that mean the monitors you watch the movies on are also shaped like coffins?
I absolutely love all these old horror movies. All this junk reality TV has taken away from the true art of acting, it makes me sick. These were the days when actors took their work seriously and put their heart and soul in their roles. I think all of our youth should have to watch movies like this so they can learn to appreciate what acting is all about!!! PS does anyone know the name of the music that plays towards the beginning? Where they are carrying torches? That music was also featured on another great movie that was made in England called Excalibur with Nigel Terry.
I would love to watch The Legacy. Actors Kathleen Ross and Husband Actor Sam Elliott. Love your Channel. Keep up the great work. I am curious if you the Vincent are you single? I would like to visit California. That way I would be able to visit you all, and maybe sit in the audience? Hello Eric love you are still in the business. Keep the work coming. Love you all Julie B. I remember a series called Creature Double Feature,. But it was just two movies, I don't remember it being this much fun in between though!
Brilliant actor and still gorgeous Eric Roberts, thank you for this classic flick❤😘
Great time spent with our host and Eric Roberts and free popcorn movie thanks so much!👍👍👍👍
Loved chilling with Eric Roberts. The fashions are tuff, check the heels and the middies. This must have been expensive in 1933. Too cool.
I am going to rewatch this for the Egyptian furniture and fabrics tucked everywhere. This was inspired.
Some day, I hope that you could convince Sara Karloff to appear on your show.
Mr.Livingston looks much more distinguished with the beard. Tangela.. well there is no improving on perfection. Vincent is who he is, great host!
True,🤔 Though Vincent has sparked hair envy here
Great guest and maybe Karloff's most underrated classic from the golden age. Most awesome! Really looking forward to the mumm....ahhh The Ghoul.
I always was and still am an Eric Roberts fan and tangella is my favorite off the 3 hosts

Welcome Mr. Eric Roberts. Great actor that just also happens to be an all around good guy. (and don't forget his beautiful and famous sister, Julia.)
Wow, this might be the most watchable film so far! Guest seems like a cool guy too.
I love how Eric Roberts speaks. True Star.
Eric Roberts is so cool!!
He really is.? I’ve been watching him for 20 years, and he’s been around longer.
Karloff’s performance reminds one of his days in silent films.
I LOVE Eric Roberts. Nature of the Beast, one of my FAVORITES.

Nerding out on Creature Features for the Covid-19 Lock-in.
That is Peter Cushing not Cushions.

What a great movie of the great master Boris Karloff ! Loved this. Thanx guys.

Hi to you guys and gal.
Another great guest, and another great show, I do love my Saturday night dose of Creature Features!!!

The singer is Zetro from Exodus. Who actually also has an AC/DC cover band in the East Bay called AC/DZ.

My favorite Eric Roberts movie was when he played the outlaw in "Purgatory". Great movie!

Eric Roberts made a film called the ambulance that should be shown. But for me he Will always be best of the best

Is it just my imagination or does some of this movies soundtrack (25:35) sound like parts of the soundtrack to 1981’s Excalibur?
That's because it IS the same music.
