just ran into your video..its a very good initiative..since it involves consumer courts and i happen to be a lawyer, i can give you a few insight. the courts are consumer centric and there are two types of judges in consumer court, one is a judicial member and the other is a technical member. if the judicial member faces some technical difficulty in deciding any issue they take the help of a technical member for example regarding bank transactions , medical negligence matters or insurance matters etc. the dates which consumer courts usually give are within the gap of 4 months because of high number of cases. sometimes the opposite party does not come as well. so at most what can a consumer court do is to proceed ex parte meaning thereby without the appearance of the opposite party the court can proceed with their decision. overall the consumer courts are immensely consumer centric provided that the complainant convinces that the court has jurisdiction to entertain the complaint plus there is a deficiency of service and the complainant fits within the definition of consumer.
Hello, I would like to know your opinion on the below case. This is related to Malfunction of refrigerator. Product - Samsung Side By Side Refrigerator (10 years warranty on the digital inverter compressor) Product purchasing date: 17th November 2012 *Issue: Malfunctioning in cooling mechanism* The timeline followed in this case/issue is as below: 1. *Multiple services requests were raise* 2. *All the request were placed through Samsung authorized service center* 3. *The Samsung executives failed to diagnose the issue and replaced multiple parts of the device with charges* 4. *After multiple repairs and part replacement the device failed to work* 5. *Samsung engineers declared that the device won't be repaired further* 6. *The issue was logged and informed to Samsung CEO team* 7. *The Samsung company representative provided an offer to compensate. I however have asked to repair my device.* 8. *The company representative denied and informed the repiar can'tbe done* 9.*The offer was a coupon of 25% of invoice value and to surrender the malfunctioning device* 10. *The compensation is unfair to me in many terms, it does not consider the cost of repairs done in past 6 months, the wastage of my valuables (medicines, vegetables, frozen foods, etc.). Additionally, the coupon won't help me as the e-commerce sites provided (croma, Reliance digital, Samsung shop) do not deliver/provide (Pin Code: 415002) service at my deisred place.* 11. *Grevience were logged during this time at National Consumer Helpline (NCH)* 12. *Planning to take further actions and logging case in District Consumer court* Past complaint details: 1. Service conducted: Condensor blower was cleaned on 2nd August 2021 2. Service conducted: Replacement of spiral condensor and sensors on 10th August 2021. 3. Service conducted: Refrigeration gass filled on 13th August 2021 4. Service conducted: Door gasket assembly repaired on 5th September 2021 6. Service conducted: product check on 22nd December 2021. 7. Service conducted: Replacement of temprature sensor, thermo fuse, motor and heater metal sheet on 1st Jan 2022. 8. Service conducted: Gas filled on 24 th January 2022. With the above history of conducting multiple services, the Refrigeration Cooling System has not been yet repaired. I have already invested a lot of money in these services which has not resolved the problem of Cooling Mechanism. In the final/latest visit by Samsung service engineers they have declared and stated that they are unable to repair the refrigerator. Additionally, with the discussion with Senior Engineers from Samsung, they have declared that they won''t and are unable to give me further repair services. This has led to high loss financially, the wastage of my time as well as wastage of vegetables and food products due to malfunction in cooling system. I personally feel this is fraud done with me as multiple repairs are done, multiple parts of the device are replaced, no proper diagnosis is done, there is no proper explanation provided for Malfunction and finally the further repair service is being denied. Furthermore, since the issue is still not resloved with multiple fraudulent repair attemps, I have registered the 3 detailed Grevience with Online forum (www.consumerhelpline.gov.in. I shall be taking the Grevience ahead to District Consumer Forum Satara, Maharashtra(Consumer Court) The above Grevience are being raised with the sole purpose of refrigerator getting repaired as soon as possible. Further, upon filling Greviences and lodging multiple complaints to CEO team of Samsung, I received an offer from the company which was a coupon provided that amounted 25% of the inovice value. I feel, the offer provided is not acceptable and very unfair to me. Below are the points I want to put forth: 1. The offer only covers the 25% amount of the invoice value. It do not covers the additional expenses done by me. I have spent around ₹9093/- on repair services provided by Samsung. Many vital parts of devices are replaced. Additionally, due to high lead time of service the device was off. This resulted in wastage of my Costly Medicines, Vegetables, and Frozen Foods. Since, the device malfunctioned multiple times, the wastage and financial loss went high. The offer do not cover the losses faced by me. Hence, I feel the offer is unfair. 2. As mentioned by over call that the coupon that will be provided can be redeemed at limited Samsung online shop, Croma, and Reliance digital. I would like to bring to your notice that, all the options/sites provided do not provide service at my deisred place located in Satara, Maharashtra(Pin Code - 415002). Thus, the coupon won't be a favourable option for me ( Check Attachment ) . 3. The mail mentions that the device has gone under depreciation due to high usage and cannot be repaired further. If this was the case! Why was the device repaired and parts were replaced in last 8 months. The device has went under multiple repairs by Samsung authorized service center and many part are replaced. This means a repair service provided was all a fraud done with me. In intention to pull out money. 4. If your final diagnosis says the device is beyond repiar, it should have not been repaired in first place. This means, the Samsung repiar services fail to correctly diagnose and repair the device. Hence, it means all the previous repairs were not necessary, yet it was done. This all lead me to believe this is a Fraud done with me. The issue is going on from last 24 days and the same is not resloved with favourable option. I feel the process is highly tideous and unreliable. I am getting calls from your end. However, every time you have pushed the issue to next day. This issue and the whole process has caused me serious mental agony. Unfortunately, I see no other option other than to go through District Consumer Forum, Satara, Maharashtra (Consumer Court) to resolve the same. If possible please provide your opinion on the same. Mostly.. but in some high amount like lakhs amount there is nominal fee like 10 rs. 50 rs. Etc etc.. but utpo some amount it is totally free.. my case was 80,000 thousands amount I did consumer case nd for 80k it was totally free of cost.

Made a complaint 2 years back regarding 2 tb hard disk which I purchased online. It had 3 year warranty.. malfunctioned within a year.. I approached the seller. He told me to approach company of device.. I approached the maker. Service man came and when he opened the hard disk it was different company make.. I told the seller.. he told me to send the hard disk back to him.After that he stopped responding me via phone, emails.. once he picked call and told me it can’t be repaired. So I told him to send back hard disk.. he sent different malfunctioned hard disk with 250 gn capacity. Then I complained in consumer court and within 45 days new hard disk came..thanx to CPA

One of my friend gave her iPhone 6s to change the tempered glass and the shopkeeper changed the whole combo with a duplicate one and gave back her phone after a day. After some time she noticed a white layer formation inside the screen on all the corners and she went back to him and he said software issues bla bla and took her phone back and said u will have to format your whole phone so give me your apple id password etc. Now she went to a different shop and asked for the solution. They told her that this is a duplicate screen and your phone is not supporting it. She went back to the 1st shop and asked if it was true and he had to accept that but he said that it was broken and we felt a need to change it so we changed it. Now she has a duplicate combo installed on her new iPhone and she needs her money and original parts back!

Nd 2nd is e-daakhil online nd sab kuch online he hoga E-daakhil se.. nd 3rd is offline. Go to your nearest consumer court nd register your complaint so simple... Nd every service is free of cost. Mostly.. but in some high amount like lakhs amount there is nominal fee like 10 rs. 50 rs. Etc etc.. but utpo some amount it is totally free.. my case was 80,000 thousands amount I did consumer case nd for 80k it was totally free of cost.

If we consider Hotel Justification of water (water bottle including service) that same be applicable on theater as well we because no body will go to theater to purchase water bottle. Theater includes service part as well
Some restaurants charge 2-3 rupess extra over MRP on coldrinks as cooling charges and this is not told beforehand but at the time of bill payment.

Made a complaint 2 years back regarding 2 tb hard disk which I purchased online. It had 3 year warranty.. malfunctioned within a year.. I approached the seller. He told me to approach company of device.. I approached the maker. Service man came and when he opened the hard disk it was different company make.. I told the seller.. he told me to send the hard disk back to him.After that he stopped responding me via phone, emails.. once he picked call and told me it can’t be repaired. So I told him to send back hard disk.. he sent different malfunctioned hard disk with 250 gn capacity. Then I complained in consumer court and within 45 days new hard disk came..thanx to CPA

One of my friend gave her iPhone 6s to change the tempered glass and the shopkeeper changed the whole combo with a duplicate one and gave back her phone after a day.
After some time she noticed a white layer formation inside the screen on all the corners and she went back to him and he said software issues bla bla and took her phone back and said u will have to format your whole phone so give me your apple id password etc.
Now she went to a different shop and asked for the solution. They told her that this is a duplicate screen and your phone is not supporting it. She went back to the 1st shop and asked if it was true and he had to accept that but he said that it was broken and we felt a need to change it so we changed it.
Now she has a duplicate combo installed on her new iPhone and she needs her money and original parts back!
