- Hi all, Chubbybots back here with another rework, this time its the Lego Iron Man Figure set 76206. I love this set and felt that it could use some bits of reworking to make it suit to my own taste :D I used my own parts in addition to the set to convert this into a Mark 3 Iron Man!

This thing is give me a lot of hero factory-bionicle vibes,i really love the system of this set,and to me a lot of marvel sets are doing a references to hero factory-bionicle
Those sets had some pretty unique peices

This completely blows that original, flimsy skeleton of a model out of the water. There's more than enough bulk to make it look like the real thing! Outstanding job as always!
When I saw this set for the first time, I immediately thought 'Chubbybots should do a rework on this', and you actually did!
I really like the end result and my favorite part is probably the chest, cause it's so Iron Man-like. I didn't really like the chest on the original set so I'm super glad you fixed it and gave it more volume!

Heh thanks 👍 that was what sparked the rework. Reusing the shoulder armor as chest pieces gave the chest the volume I felt was required

The way you utilised the new parts the make a more complete suit is amazing! It truly does stay true to the Mark 3 and the sliding plates for flaps and other segments was the best! Keep up the great work! 👍

I had my concerns about this set, before anything else becouse of the shoulders, but I was 200% sure you would improve it by 1000% and I was right! You are an awesome builder!

Ah instructions are too time consuming to make for me. Hope you can get the idea from the video and adapt to your modifications

if I could make a suggestion for a future build, maybe an alternative build of the Ninja Ultra Combo Mech? The proportions on the set feel strange, and there is just absolutely no knee articulation

Ngl, the inclusion of bricks to a system similar to ccbs and this guys creative use of it gives me hope that bionicle could come back if they use a system like this.

Ive been wating for somebody to do this for so long
My biggest gripe with the original set was how the shoulders were done. This rework makes them look so much better!
yeah the shoulders were really weird on the original one, looked okay in certain poses but really weird when you look at them from another angle

Using car spoilers as articulating abs is a fantastic solution! At what point were you looking at those spoilers and think "hey, here's Ironman's stomach" lol
actually the idea for the car spoilers came from the original set itself. Trust me the original set is quite impressive, i merely shifted a couple of things around ^^

Please consider showing the pieces not included in the set in future videos like this! I have this kit and it was a bit of a hassle to figure out which piece was included and which wasn't while following along.

This I missed the most. And at least you made the set more articulated and more better like always, I miss framework Friday's they were the best
hmm apart from the neck joint, the default set already had these articulations. Credit goes to lego for that!
@@Chubbybots yes but why not change his elbow articulation so then he can make other poses
@@jaycrafter3051 i like the original elbow design, cos if i lengthen the elbow i would also have to lengthen the legs making the figure more unstable
